I think these are all great ideas! I’ll have to keep them in mind for future LIOs. I think people forget what it was like to be a kid, especially a boy, and one of the great joys was grossing out the girls, low-brow scatalogical humor be damned!
In one of my jobs, my boss was a pediatrician. He was wearing a tie with Winnie the Pooh characters on it, our work-group was riding with him on the elevator, and I announced “Dr. () has Pooh on his tie.”
The “cooking with Pooh” image made me LOL…what was the editor thinking with that title, and then the image of the brown stuff in a bowl (with chunks, no less!) They had to be laughing, no?

Lio is getting scatalogical.

Don’t forget “Breaking Wind in the Willows”.

I always thought “Winnie The Pooh” was a terrible name for a story for kids. Lio and I think alike. As long as the sequel is NOT “Two Girls One Cup”

Good thing Lio wasn’t rewriting “Dick and Jane”; he’d be expelled. 8)

I like the way Lio looks in the last panel. So proud.
blackman2732 about 16 years ago
Is it a “poop-up” book? Sorry. Couldn’t resist.
m_ortal about 16 years ago
Lio needs the little suede elbow patches in the last panel.
Wasn’t there a Golden Book about a tug boat called “Little Toot”?
