Lio is apolitical. He doesn’t support any movement. He acts on his own. And he has always has loved animals and come out on their side, against hunters and others who would threaten them. That doesn’t make Lio a liberal PETA-loving vegan. He just hates bullying of any kind, whether human or animal, and he takes the side of those less-inclined or able to defend themselves.
How are foxes less able to defend themselves? You ever see a fox go after somebody’s pet? Whether Lio is apolitical in nature is up for debate, but this certainly is a political statement being made. He’s got better fish to fry, assuming he’s okay with frying fish that is.
Lio is an omnivore. He brought out a robot with missiles when his father tried to feed him a cabbage-based meal, because he wanted to go out for pizza.
Foxes that become wearing apparel are either raised for skinning or trapped. I’m pretty sure they are not being punished for rampant attacks on people’s pets.
Who’s to say this is a political statement on Lio’s part? Perhaps he saw an opportunity to sow chaos without getting into the finer points of animal use versus abuse.
I don’t see it as being political. Lio is a little boy having fun with his twisted sense of humor. Who would expect to see “live fur” jump out at you in a place full of “dead fur”??
Lio is just doing something for fun to see the reactions from people, nothing more than he thinks it is fun. Just like my ex-wife letting a live lobster loose in the aisle at the supermarket before checking out. {it was HIGH-LAR-IOUS!!!}
