They were at least advanced enough to figure out what was good to eat and what would kill you if eaten. Otherwise we wouldn’t be here.

Not that advanced if they’re wearing suits and doing office work.

And we’ve been de-evolving ever since!

Wearing a suit and tie is SO yesterday. I donated mine when I retired.

That sounds like it describes a typical foursome on a putting green.

This is similar to the experience we had touring the headhunter village in Borneo. The tour company played it up greatly. They told us they had negotiated safe passage for us for this day only but there were strict rules we had to follow. We couldn’t make eye contact with anyone because the warriors would think it was aggressive and the tour guide wouldn’t be able to guarantee our safety. The young warriors were wearing bathing suits under their loincloths and the young maidens wore bikinis under their flower leis and grass skirts. What I thought was particularly amusing was that as we approached each station they all hurriedly put down their cell phones and grabbed spears and cooking gourds.

“ And Edna, I’m gonna club you and drag you by your hair. OK?”
