The Ballade des dames du temps jadis (“Ballad of the Ladies of Times Past”) is a poem by François Villon which celebrates famous women in history and mythology
Ah well. They selected some excellent music for their wedding… and her funeral. I do hope there’s still someone alive in England with some musical taste when it comes time to say, “Good night, sweet Prince, etc…”
Apparently Di used to regularly send out for Mickey D’s when she just wanted some “normal” food… Why ANYONE would want that rubbish when you get Cordon Bleu every other day of the week is beyond me, though!
Let’s see–sirloin steak (ground), tomatoes (ketchup-ified), cucumbers (pickled), eggs and oil (mayoed), lettuce and a toasted bread roll–
Oppose that to chicken, cheese, bread with butter (breading), oil, butter–
Tell me about “rubbish” again?

Some comic reruns hold up better than others. This is a little too sad.
(Sisyphos: Je ne parle pas francais or something like that. Yahoo Babelfish says you said “Or are snows of antan”. Say what?)

What would Charles have said about Carlos O’Kelly’s? And would he have thought Red Robin was for communists?

McDonalds would be Scottish instead of Irish, wouldn’t it? And Sisyphos, those were happier days indeed.
