Middle age? Actually, I felt exactly same thing when I was 6.

I think death dawned on me when I was 12 or 13, during the Cuban missile crisis, when we all thought we were about to get fried by the Russians. I’ve repressed it for years, but it’s starting to come back at me. It’s getting way too close.

actually, I’ve had a lot of days like that.and yes, the cuban missle thing was scary, I was 10, but I always had faith that JFK would work it out.

I’m an upper octagenarian and the older I get the better I was!

The whole A-bomb thing got me thinking about death when I was a kid, but Paul Simon’s “Patterns” did away with my innocence.

Nah. 55 and I’m hotrodding around on a sport bike still believing I’m immortal. Sometimes it’s better to be oblivious.

I was so scared by the missile crisis that I refused to be born for another couple of weeks.

I’m against death too. What say we start a petition against it?

The idea of death doesn’t bother me. (I’m 56). But how it will happen…….that’s another story. It’s the transition that concerns me. It might hurt ;-)
