I hate change. I wish they would leave well enough alone. I mean really…what am I supposed to do with these hundreds of VHS movies now that my vcr has croaked?
For those of us who remember Gary Harts scandal, todays rerun was a great laugh out loud. Gary stepped out with quite a little “hottie”! Too bad about all those boating pictures. Snerk!
False equivalency. Saying you are opposed to change & need continuity only applies when the change is neutral or good. A change for the worst would upset most people & is not a sign that you are unadaptable to change. If the ottoman had been exchanged for another equally serviceable piece of furniture than Opus could argue that he resists change for its own sake. But having it sold behind his back & having to sit on a garbage can full of garbage is not evidence of resistance to change.
