Dear ypoons, my republicans are not much better. Tom Coburn is about it. I generally respect Sarah whose last name provokes mindless spittle and rage among leftists, Paul Ryan, and Rand Paul, and I still have hope for Ted who is much like Sarah. But since Reagan, Coburn is about the only one proven long-term worthy of my allegiance.
So Repubs have turkey, because they are great big turkeys, the Dems have ham, because they are great big hams. The Libertardians try to eat there young to make them strong. think I’ll have Pizza for Christmas next year….
The democrat talks about how sad it is that not everyone has as much water as they want, and tries to figure out ways to ensure that the world finds a way to provide it for everyone.
The republican says: “Hey! Who took the rest of my water?”
The only republicans worthy of the name these days are John Huntsman, Olympia Snow, and Gov. Christie. A few of the last true moderates of the republican party. Understanding it is about country. Not about party, ideology, the flag, or even religion.

How to tell a Democrat from a Republican:
Start with a glass half full/half empty of water.
The democrat talks about how sad it is that not everyone has as much water as they want, and tries to figure out ways to ensure that the world finds a way to provide it for everyone.
The republican says: “Hey! Who took the rest of my water?”
