Bactine was my mom’s go-to medication for us. (Okay, 15 years earlier than this, but.)

This comic is projected to have a Backinmyday Quotient* of 7/10.

*The “Backinmyday Quotient” refers to the likelihood of the comments for any particular comic being dominated by references to the glorious days of yore and how awesome things were before all this gosh-darn technology junk.

Gosh…they were “predicting” the dangers of “Globull Warming” 25 years ago with immediate devastating effects. Yet, 25 years later today when it snowed……well, it was crap thinking then, it’s still crap thinking now.

Pianoguy24, one of the reasons we don’t see “acid snow” here is that the U.S. government, starting in the 1980s, enacted standards, monitoring, and a cap and trade policy designed to reduce sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions. In industrialized and unregulated China and Russia, there actually is “acid snow”.
