It’s touching how many contemporary comic strip artists, even the edgier ones, pay tribute to Charles Schulz. Stephan Pastis (Pearls Before Swine), has this great story in an intro to one of his collections about meeting him in person, and just what a great and humble man he was.
I’m amused that Huey is so desperate that getting Riley to read even the comics (preferably, Peanuts - a strip that few consider to be at all sophisticated) is a victory for education.
Certainly the comics could improve Riley’s scores on the Whump! Test.
