TV: As some democrats continue to call for a congressional hearing into the inaccurate intelligence that led to the invasion of Iraq, President Bush had this to say... "Look, I asked Condoleezza and she told me that her cousin Cleetus went to the store and talked to his friend Ernest, who the day before called his Momma, Liola, who talked to her best friend Sally, who said her son, Raoul, went to Iraq and saw a weapon of mass destruction on sale for $9.99. So there."

Actually, the intel came from a cab driver and cardboard mock-ups. True story.

As I remember it, and I DO remember it well, THE WHOLE DAMNED USA was fully behind this thing, WMD or not. This is just drivel. Saddam was chipping in to his Al Queda buddies, no doubt, and he was absolutely paying families of Suicide Bombers to carry out attacks in Israel. Frickin’ Saddam and his boys were evil incarnate, and WE put ‘em there - so hell yes, WE had to take ‘em out. And to just up and leave after all the destruction would have been criminal. I know these are old cartoons, but the dis-information published then weakened our resolve and is still causing more US deaths to this day.
