Voice: White House... Huey: Hey, it's Huey again. Just wondering if you guys found any of those massive stockpiles of chemical weapons yet? Voice: No! You've called here eight times in the last hour and we still haven't found them!! Stop calling us!! Caesar: I think I can actually hear my childhood passing me by. Huey: C'mon...one more call! They're just starting to get really mad...

Let’s see, Sarin gas canisters to fit on missiles on one side of the room, missiles to fit Sarin gas canisters on the other side of the room, launch vehicles parked outside the building.
BUT they’re not assembled, so they’re not WMD’s.
That’s the kind of facts being deniedt in propaganda like this comic strip.
Not to mention theswarms of human suicide bombers being paid by Saddam (well, their families were getting paid after the fact) to blow themselves up in Israeli cities.
No, W was an evil emperor who was both an idiot and masterminded 9/11… that’s so much easier to believe than that the US is a good and kind nation capable of and justified in defending itself and its allies when necessary.

Most experts agree that Saddam was a paper tiger and sanctions/bombings had destroyed his WMD capability. He was just posturing to prevent another Iranian conflict.

Gee rumplesnitz, it must be nice to live in your world. W was an idiot but I doubt seriously he had anything to do with the World Trade Center attacks.
However, consider this. I read a very interesting article back around 2004 in that disgusting liberal rag, The Wall Street Journal. That article reported that George W. Bush had directed his transition team to look for reasons to attack Iraq. Before he was even in the White House, Bush was trying to find some excuse to attack Iraq. He was spoiling for a fight and would use any excuse, no matter how flimsy, to have it. So yes, the good and kind US has killed directly, at a minimum, 50,000 innocent Iraqis. Some estimates run into the hundreds of thousands. Then there are all the other deaths unleased by the removal of Saddam. Granted, he was no prince but he kept a lid on the internal violence. With him gone, all the old hatreds erupted into violence and death. All of this, courtesy of the good and kind US.

Sadam needed taking out. Assassination is more efficient, but national figures are leery of that can of worms. Why exactly does Iran not have a right to nuclear development?

Actually the PNAC tried to talk Clinton into invading Iraq in 1998, but he wasn’t stupid enough to buy the baseless arguments that W swallowed hook , line and sinker. If there had been the remotest evidence of WsMD, the Shrubs would have put it under a magnifying glass. There was no there there. It’s astonishing that anybody is trying to claim otherwise at this late date.

PNAC tried to talk everybody into invading anything.

aprilglaspie – yeah, well, that’s rumplesnitz for you: If it’s not hyperconservative and ultra-Republican-party-line, it’s not true, even if it’s completely factually accurate.

Facts are facts, I’m just trying to keep this kind of dis-information from going unchallanged. You guys however, have drunk the blue kool-aide.
a. What we did was right and necessary. b. Bush is not the Evil Witch of the West. He’s just a man who did the best he could. Dick Cheny and co. may be another story… c. The way to stop the killing is not to placate the killers nor to blame ourselves.

Don’t bother trying to convince the media brainwashed masses Rumplesnitz. Their minds are already made up and no amount of facts are going to change them. I just have one question. IF we had done nothing, and Hussein had turned Israel into a waste land. What would these leftists be saying now. I am sure it would have all been Bush’s fault. To everyone that thinks that placating a dictator is the way to have peace I have two words for you…………Neville Chamberlain. Ask 6,000,000 Jews if Appeasement is ever the answer. Oh……that’s right……..YOU CAN’T!
