Good morning, we have some left oevr steak from Jfri, which will go nicely with eggs. We have bagels, coffee, orange juice, and hot chocolate for our friend in Canada.
Good Morning Everyone, I hope you all have a good day today. I have 2 dr. appts, a scan and maybe chemo going on today. Nothing to eat or drink after 6am eastern because of scan, only water. :(
Joy, Please read my post from last night that I wrote to you.
Marg, thanks for breakfast, I had some before 6.
Good Morning all, thanks for breakfast Marg and JFri. Good luck with your appts. today Carmy. Sending lots of happy your way. *DF*, I think that second comment was unâbearâable.
Good Morning all and to answer the pressing question, since I posted first I was referring to myself as being Goofy, but I feel confident in saying that from time to time we all can fit the roll. I came to my computer this morning only to find that my last comment before, I crawled into bed, was still sitting in the comment box not posted. I guess I made a smart choice in retiring.
AAAARRRRRR, Carmy good thoughts be cominâ yet way from thâ olâ pirate! Doc I hear whatcha yer sayinâ, poor kiity! And what have ye all done with that bonnie lass Joy? Been firinâ cannonballs over her house fer days with nary a peep from her! marg nice job on the breakfast!
Carmy - Hope today is a good one for you.
Doc - Why is it that when they break something on purpose, they called it getting fixed? Why the euphemism, canât they just call a spayed a spayed?
doctortoon I was reading your comment on Dinette Set and googled doctortoon just to see what wise a@@ comment I could make back at you. It was interesting. Try it.
Joy, we missed you!
joyloved was a scammer, probably trying to lure email addresses for phishing purposes. She(?) posted on a couple of comics trying to entice some responses. I thought she was hitting on Cleo and JFri.
Iâve never really been in the NE part of NoDak, although we used to have a house (St. Gallâs) up at Devilâs Lake. By now, Iâm sure, the site is under water :-( but then we havenât been there for something like 100 yearsâŠ
I have been to Minot on occasion, and as far East as Belcourt (sp?). But Iâve been just about everywhere West of the River. Favorite quote: Weâd driven up to the North Unit of Teddy Roosevelt Natnl. Park to see it. Itâs only got a single paved road through to the end, which has a gorgeous overlook across a swath of badlands. Well, Br. Z was in the car, rooting around in the glove box (he had some pretty good dementia at the time). We said to him, âCome out and look at this wonderful view!â
His response? âOh, I canât be bothered to look in every nook and cranny!â Priceless!
Raven, I did agree to that but, before we found out who you were, I created an email account for us at yahoo. I thought it might put everyone at ease if I did that. It is setup and ready to go.
I have a question for the cartoon archivists here. Who remembers The toon strip Ernie, or Piranha Club. Ernie had a pet Water Buffalo. Where can I find some archives of those old strips?
bmonk, yes it is definitely a possibility that the house near Devilâs Lake is underwater. Whole towns have been lost.
I like the western part of the state. I have covered just about every road in the state. I love the sense of humor of ND residents. I drove by a large pasture or field. Plopped in the middle of it was an old stove with the door hanging open. Next to it was a sign that had printed on it. âOpen Rangeâ.
bmonk, I believe it was near Amidon. And I have seen the mailboxes that you refer to. Have you seen the old house that has one whole wall removed. Inside is an old TV, a crib with a doll inside and I believe also two dolls representing the parents. I think the sign there says âFort Buford Model Homeâ.
Dry to tell you the truth I donât remember. I did take pictures of these things and I have a vague memory of sending it to Country but I am not sure if they published my photo or not.
@Cleokaya, I havenât even heard of that âmodel houseâ. Sounds like our brand of dry, cornball humor though.
And then there are the large animal models throughout the upper Midwest: giant Bison (Jamestown), Milk cow (New Salem), Turtle (Turtle Lake), half Gorilla (ex-Mandan, now ?Beulah), Walleye somewhere, as well as Babe the Blue Ox in Minn, and othersâŠ
Yea JFri & DF I got the joke! Trust me, I got the joke! Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, Deep Space Nine, Star Trek Voyager, Battlestar Galactica, I like them all, but my husband watches re-run upon re-run upon re-run to the point Iâm pretty much sick of them!
Joy we never got specific about where we live, house numbers, etc. Thereâs so many people out there, how can they pinpoint us?
It was nice when it was you & me at WTP, no offense to the rest of you, truly, but if Joy leaves it wonât quite be the same.
JOY dont leave us. i cant take that, i will be said for a while as it is bc i am leaving all my friends for collage and this week is my last week. how am i supposed to take losing one of my first gocomics friends, as well. i think that this site is safe as well. the whole phone number thing is indeed crazy, but hunny i have a cell phone that is not listed and people get my number and try to sell me car insureance or tell me it is no longer any good. they get that form your credit card, your signing of recepits and other things. the crazy people in this world have ways of getting your stuff. also maybe they have your same name or something or a friend with it. dont leave us. this is a very long plea to get you to stay. :(
Carmy do you know who Ravensinger is??? how do you know if so. please let me in on this little screate. :D glad to here no cemo for a while. stay strong. love is on the way. God bless. â theres light at the end of this tunnel, for you. theres a light at the end of this tunnel shining bright at the end of this tunnel, for you. so keep holding on.â third day
does anyone know how to make a printer stop being stupid. it keeps eatting my paper and telling me paper jam. so i âunjamâ it and then it says its still jamed. wonder if i tossed it out the door if that would fix it. :D
@tabbylynn, tossing the printer out the door/window might not do a thing for the printer, but it might help you! ;-) No, really, you might need that printer some day, assuming you can ever get it to work. And there might still be a scrap of paper up in there somewhere? Lots a luck! (or, as Astro used to say, âRots a ruck!)
Tabbylynn - some printers have multiple access doors that you have to open to check for jammed paper. Did the first jammed page tear? If so, you might have a small fragment stuck somewhere in the feeder that is triggering the error. Also make sure your paper guides fit snugly against the paper - if theyâre too loose, the paper can come in a little crooked and lead to jamming.
I guess I missed the whole problem that Joy is having with her phone, but I consider this site safe. I have reveal where I live in generalities and the fact that I mention I live on a lake narrows things down even more, but I feel secure enough. Granted, one can never be to careful, but life canât be spent worrying and not living life with enjoyment. I could be off base here since, as I said, I donât know what issues have come up with her phone. This is a nice group here and to lose one is a loss for all of us.
Tabbylynn, it is always sad to move away from your friends in high school and to go on to college. I went halfway across the country and then up into Canada for school and it was one of the highlights of my life. I made great new friends, I was my own boss and I became an adult through experiences I learned from being forced to make my own decisions and to learn from mistakes. You will do fine.
bmonk and df thanks. Bmonk it would make me feel a lot better, bc if i cant get it to work to print my final essay i may be killed. Df it did not rip, but may be to lose. thanks will try that.
Celo thanks. it is just so scary. i love my frineds. mainly my teacher friends. it will be hard and we will be doing a lot of crying this week. i am writing them all leters and giving them to them tomorrow. :) we will cry together. i will make them read it and not leave them be till they do so. :D
@tabbylynn, thereâs always putting it on a disk and going to another machine with a printer. Or you can email it to someone (a friend nearby) to print out?
One thing Iâve found, there is always a way to work it. Not always a good way, but a way. I even got a PC to talk to a Mac once upon a time in the dark ages when they âcouldnât speakâ to each other: sent the paper on email and reformatted.
Yes, Tabbylynn, you really should. How else will you learn the joys of finishing a job you didnât like in the first place and being able to say, âwell, now thatâs done!â
tabby your dad shouldnât mind you talking to us. You have a bunch of nagging parents, well I donât think bmonk is a parent, but heâs still a nag!! LOL
Tabby, going off to college will be a little weird at first, but it will be one of the best experiences of you life. However, you do still wanna get all your homework done because some colleges will unaccept you if they think you are slacking. BTW I just googled my avatar and was very disturbed that google keeps track of itâŠ
Joy, I went and googled too. You canât see comments after a certain amount of days if you are not âpro.â Which means you have to sign on in here too.
Itâs not just this site, itâs all of them like facebook, my space and several more. The thing is weâre just a bunch of nobodies (no offense anyone) who cares what we say, as long as itâs just our regular chitty-chat. If you want to take extra precautions, go ahead. That is a good idea.
Joy, everyday through everything we do we run a risk about finding out our personal into. But gocomics is, in my opinion safer than credit card purchases, bank info and the like. If someone were trying to get personal info on you I believe that they would seek avenues other than this. You are a special lady and I think you are safe here. But, you have to do what makes you comfortable at the end of the day.
Carmy is right though. Who is gonna give a ratâs a&& what we say. I just donât like that itâs out there. I deleted my personal info, not that there was much there to begin with.
Scre^ cyperspace! I will try to be careful, but Iâm not gonna hide my head in the sand. Gettinâ too old to do that! Someone in this house would freak, though, knowing I was out there!
Has anybody figured out who or what Ravensinger is? I certainly have nothing online that could be used against me in ID theft. I donât use facebook and donât even open emails or spam unless Iâm pretty sure who itâs from.
I had to attend a Realty appointment this morning and took the time to put some notes on paper, then as time permits put this in Word then cut and pasted it here.
Ravensinger said he was a regular with BT but nobody from BT was being followed, just some folks from Pibgorn site like Akenta mentioned. Ravensinger said he was being secretive to avoid links with his âother monikerâ. NoFearPup pops up and says âI am Ravensinger BWAHAHAHAHA!â. A ruse or smoking gun just to throw us off? I searched for an altercation I remembered from a few months ago, May 4th, and Ravensinger mentions paying people to work for him and yesterday mentioned a conference; another smoking gun or hint. I Googled Ravensinger like Doctortoon was talking about Googling our screenames and I found nothing more than a bunch of links to some musician or band. I saw references yesterday about Ravensinger/NoFearPup but they donât even sound alike. NoFearPup comes off as abrupt and callous speaking his mind where Ravensinger speaks assertively yet cautious. I rarely see the name or Abeâs pictures except for a few times on SOTU and then yesterday over here.
Joy, if youâve never given a social security number, used a credit card or bank account number online over an unsecure connection, there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of. All you have to do is get a good anti-virus and spyware filter along with firewall and keep them updated and there will be no problems. I have my resume with contact information for business purposes and Iâve never had a hint of trouble.
JFrisch419 says:
Joy lesson one in SCUBA diving is never panic! Your posting here is safe. Just do your funny comments and leave the details alone. I seriously believe you are safe and that what is happening to you in RL is just a coincidence!
Dry: I see that Joy is very upset, and I can understand why. I donât feel threatened on this site, because like one of you said, âwhoâd be interested in what we have to say?â. I refuse to go on Face Book or My Space, however. Theyâre just not my thing, for one, and you do seem to be leaving yourself open to all kinds of nonsense. I did join ccdesanâs OTC group, and I worried about it for a while, but itâs a LOT smaller than Face Book. ;-)
Tabbylynn: Where are you going to college? I only went to college for two years, but they were two great years. You will make good friends there. When was/is your graduation?
Hi everyone!! Welcome back Joy, weâve missed you.
Iâve only read about 100 comments so far, will catch up a little later. I did try and google Akenta and didnât see anything scary. I had a couple links but they both took me to my profile, which just shows I post here a lot. Also had a few other sites I post as her (probably why I use her as an alias).
Iâve also googled my real name a few times. Not very interesting, except someone with my name works in the movie industry.
One thing you do want to do is google your phone number and make that nothing appears with that. (which I just did and found something :-( )
marg my grad is may 13 next wend shaking in my boots.
jfri and dry i am fin my essay to dont fuss.
marg back to you, sorry they would be fussing if i was not fin b4 getting back on here. i will be attending ULL in the fall. i am taking the summer off because i need a break. sigh i cant handle starting college right out of highschool. i am going for early childhood education. so ill be âin schoolâ the rest of my time. lol
I do feel pretty safe on this site - donât really post anything damaging. I think the closest thing would be the county I live in, but itâs a pretty big county.
I always work under the assumption that anything I do on the internet the government is watching (and anything I do at work, upper management is watching). I go with Danaeâs theory that being good makes you invisible. Itâs a little boring, but I donât have a problem with that.
Akenta i wish i was living on campus, but im not. not that lucky. job dosnet pay that much and dad is not going to be much of a help with it. my mother none so i have to work on this on my own and do with what i got.
doctortoon, it was I not you who started this whole mess. By bringing your comment over from Dinette Set, it was I who mentioned googling our usernames. Sorry everyone, but I have known for some time that our username appears when googled. I found out by accident one day probably a year ago.
cleo you big trouble maker you! Donât you know âignorance is blissâ! Hey Iâm just yanking your chain, friend. At least now we know and will be more careful. I donât understand, though, how did it get out there? And is there a way to stop it? Or better protect ourselves?
Howdy all! I read all the comments (whew)! Iâm glad we all learned something.
I was at the softball game. One of the umps saw lightening and stopped the game. They got the game going and it started pouring. They kept playing. Finally the game ended (we lost). Then no electricity! Traffic lights out, big accident at the intersection. Lights back on, dinner will be late!
Dry, I donât think there is a way to stop it. That is why when you google a topic you can come up with hundreds of thousands of hits. I actually had an unusual thing happen to me about 4 years ago. I am and was a photographer. Back in the early 70âs I had a one night stand with a young lady passing through Vancouver. A year later I ran into her girlfriend who had been traveling with her. She mentioned that I had a child. I tried to do the right thing, but was rebuffed. 30+ years later, my daughter googles my name. We havenlât met but correspond by email, because she googled my name and hit on a website that has my photos.
I guess technically someone could have googled us and then saw our pics a couple weeks back, but I worry about everything I canât control and panic over the things I can. Not healthy, but that is who I am.
Good Night Joy, good luck Doc.
Iâve been trying to find a friend of mine who I lost contact with when he moved to NY. Him having a last name of Smith, isnât helping much. Iâm still hopeful Iâll find him one day.
bmonk you know I was kidding I hope! :-) But you know, we gotta keep on these younginsâ and since my kids basically blow me off, I practice on Tabby. LOL
Oh my word. walk away for a few min maybe an hour and you guys talk about me. lol
i dont mind.
see Dry and Carmy i dont mind you practincing on me. you can have at it. its okay with me. i dont mind not at all. glad i could help. :D be back in a few. working on sr pics. not sure if i want to post them or not nowâŠ
@johnnydoc5, you may be a worrywort, but you are not world class until you can worry about storm at the other end of the state, events that may never happen that will have totally obscure consequences that might be bad and so on.
Example: I was asked to get someone for the phone once. I tried, no answer. When I returned with the information he was not answering, the worrier got frantic. âWhere could he be?â
carmy & Dry, you two are pretty sharp cookies. No, I am not sure she is my daughter, but it is not her faulst. After her mother left me she was raped by a trucker and her mother never told her about that. I had to force her mother to tell her of the possiblilities when my âdaughterâ started getting close. I diid not want to lie to her. We havenât had tests, she lives in Eastern Canada and I live on the west coast. But, I have no problem being a father figure. But, heck she is in her 30âs and has problems. I just try to be a stable source of info.
OhâŠand yes, I have seen pictures and she looks nothing like me. But, as a baby, she looked exactly like me. Itâs 50/50, but I want her to feel like I do not care if I am the father or not, but that I can care, because she hasnât experienced someone who cares.
cleokaya, all we can do is make the world a better place for having been here. It sound like you are doing that for your daughter. So the genetics of the case donât matter in the least.
Cleo, you are doing a wonderful thing for this woman (who may or may not be your daughter). Given her age and what she is going through, why rock the boat? Having someone that genuinely cares for her should definitely be a great blessing for her (and you).
I try not to be a worrier, but I canât help it. I have seen bad things and always worry that they could be worse. But I try not to let others see me worry.
JFri, that is very selfish of your neighbors, not to let anyone who is willing to help ride along.
Cleo, the cynic in me says not to trust her, but you know more than I do.
Cleo what you are doing is great. it shows how good of a person you are. it is hard to belive anyone now days, but if you are helping her out by being a sweet caring person. its nice of you.
i am a worrier also i have marks in my mouth to show it.
going to bed all. good night. i need more sleep then what i am getting pulse i have some stuff to pack and get ready for tomororw. night. talk to you all later. peace and love. dont stay up to late and lave me 100 comments to make. :D lol
Tabby: I wish there was a way that you could live on campus. Itâs a wonderful experience. God love you for doing that all by yourself. Youâre a special young lady.

does anyone know how to make a printer stop being stupid. it keeps eatting my paper and telling me paper jam. so i âunjamâ it and then it says its still jamed. wonder if i tossed it out the door if that would fix it. :D
bmonk almost 16 years ago
@tabbylynn, tossing the printer out the door/window might not do a thing for the printer, but it might help you! ;-) No, really, you might need that printer some day, assuming you can ever get it to work. And there might still be a scrap of paper up in there somewhere? Lots a luck! (or, as Astro used to say, âRots a ruck!)
Digital Frog almost 16 years ago
Tabbylynn - some printers have multiple access doors that you have to open to check for jammed paper. Did the first jammed page tear? If so, you might have a small fragment stuck somewhere in the feeder that is triggering the error. Also make sure your paper guides fit snugly against the paper - if theyâre too loose, the paper can come in a little crooked and lead to jamming.
hth!

This is a nice group here and to lose one is a loss for all of us.
cleokaya almost 16 years ago
Tabbylynn, it is always sad to move away from your friends in high school and to go on to college. I went halfway across the country and then up into Canada for school and it was one of the highlights of my life. I made great new friends, I was my own boss and I became an adult through experiences I learned from being forced to make my own decisions and to learn from mistakes. You will do fine.
tabbylynn almost 16 years ago
bmonk and df thanks. Bmonk it would make me feel a lot better, bc if i cant get it to work to print my final essay i may be killed. Df it did not rip, but may be to lose. thanks will try that.
tabbylynn almost 16 years ago
Celo thanks. it is just so scary. i love my frineds. mainly my teacher friends. it will be hard and we will be doing a lot of crying this week. i am writing them all leters and giving them to them tomorrow. :) we will cry together. i will make them read it and not leave them be till they do so. :D
bmonk almost 16 years ago
@tabbylynn, thereâs always putting it on a disk and going to another machine with a printer. Or you can email it to someone (a friend nearby) to print out?
One thing Iâve found, there is always a way to work it. Not always a good way, but a way. I even got a PC to talk to a Mac once upon a time in the dark ages when they âcouldnât speakâ to each other: sent the paper on email and reformatted.
tabbylynn almost 16 years ago
*I FIXED IT!!!!* i dont know how but i did it!!! so happy. check me out. two letters down and more to come pluse my essay i should be working on. :D

(Can you tell that Iâm happy for you?)
Now get to work on that schoolwork!
tabbylynn almost 16 years ago
Bmonk do i have to?? lol okay but i will be checking back and forth on here. Lol im a bad student she knows already.
bmonk almost 16 years ago
Yes, Tabbylynn, you really should. How else will you learn the joys of finishing a job you didnât like in the first place and being able to say, âwell, now thatâs done!â
bmonk almost 16 years ago
Besides, you could surprise her by becoming a better student! Teachers just love that sort of surprise.
tabbylynn almost 16 years ago
Bmonk true. that would make her happy, just tired of it all. pluse these friendship quotes are making me cry. so sweet
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 16 years ago
tabby your dad shouldnât mind you talking to us. You have a bunch of nagging parents, well I donât think bmonk is a parent, but heâs still a nag!! LOL
Now get that work done! bmonk is right!

Dry yes mama. your the boss. lol so im getting to work on it.

You know, if any of our regular group left, I would be sad. I look forward to seeing how you all are doing each day!
See the camraderie youâd miss here, Joy?
johnnydoc5 almost 16 years ago
Tabby, going off to college will be a little weird at first, but it will be one of the best experiences of you life. However, you do still wanna get all your homework done because some colleges will unaccept you if they think you are slacking. BTW I just googled my avatar and was very disturbed that google keeps track of itâŠ
johnnydoc5 almost 16 years ago
Dry, I am pretty sure that I am not a parent either.
tabbylynn almost 16 years ago
Joy sigh is all i can say now.
carmy almost 16 years ago
Joy, I went and googled too. You canât see comments after a certain amount of days if you are not âpro.â Which means you have to sign on in here too. Itâs not just this site, itâs all of them like facebook, my space and several more. The thing is weâre just a bunch of nobodies (no offense anyone) who cares what we say, as long as itâs just our regular chitty-chat. If you want to take extra precautions, go ahead. That is a good idea.
carmy almost 16 years ago
Iâm off to watch daughter #3âs softball game. BBL

Joy, everyday through everything we do we run a risk about finding out our personal into. But gocomics is, in my opinion safer than credit card purchases, bank info and the like. If someone were trying to get personal info on you I believe that they would seek avenues other than this. You are a special lady and I think you are safe here. But, you have to do what makes you comfortable at the end of the day.
tabbylynn almost 16 years ago
okay now that i know you can find your name on google i changed my pic. now back to work. this has gotten us all worked up i think.
Joy no matter what your choice is⊠peace and love will be with you and warm thoughts.

I have my resume with contact information for business purposes and Iâve never had a hint of trouble.

margueritem almost 16 years ago
Dry: I see that Joy is very upset, and I can understand why. I donât feel threatened on this site, because like one of you said, âwhoâd be interested in what we have to say?â. I refuse to go on Face Book or My Space, however. Theyâre just not my thing, for one, and you do seem to be leaving yourself open to all kinds of nonsense. I did join ccdesanâs OTC group, and I worried about it for a while, but itâs a LOT smaller than Face Book. ;-)
margueritem almost 16 years ago
Tabbylynn: Where are you going to college? I only went to college for two years, but they were two great years. You will make good friends there. When was/is your graduation?
Akenta almost 16 years ago
Hi everyone!! Welcome back Joy, weâve missed you.
Iâve only read about 100 comments so far, will catch up a little later. I did try and google Akenta and didnât see anything scary. I had a couple links but they both took me to my profile, which just shows I post here a lot. Also had a few other sites I post as her (probably why I use her as an alias).
Iâve also googled my real name a few times. Not very interesting, except someone with my name works in the movie industry.
One thing you do want to do is google your phone number and make that nothing appears with that. (which I just did and found something :-( )
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 16 years ago
Have a good evening Joy my freind! And thanks! Now you have me about half freaked out!! :-) (Kind of kidding, kinda of not!)

marg back to you, sorry they would be fussing if i was not fin b4 getting back on here. i will be attending ULL in the fall. i am taking the summer off because i need a break. sigh i cant handle starting college right out of highschool. i am going for early childhood education. so ill be âin schoolâ the rest of my time. lol

DocT, glad youâre cat is doing fine. Hope youâre getting over it too.
Akenta almost 16 years ago
I do feel pretty safe on this site - donât really post anything damaging. I think the closest thing would be the county I live in, but itâs a pretty big county.
I always work under the assumption that anything I do on the internet the government is watching (and anything I do at work, upper management is watching). I go with Danaeâs theory that being good makes you invisible. Itâs a little boring, but I donât have a problem with that.
Akenta almost 16 years ago
tabby, I hope youâll be living on campus while at college - it might a good break for you.
I better stop commenting and my exercise done (so I can come back and comment some more).
tabbylynn almost 16 years ago
Akenta i wish i was living on campus, but im not. not that lucky. job dosnet pay that much and dad is not going to be much of a help with it. my mother none so i have to work on this on my own and do with what i got.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 16 years ago
Hi Akenta! Pretty freaky the stuff thatâs out there! Oh Yes, progress and technology! :-P
cleokaya almost 16 years ago
doctortoon, it was I not you who started this whole mess. By bringing your comment over from Dinette Set, it was I who mentioned googling our usernames. Sorry everyone, but I have known for some time that our username appears when googled. I found out by accident one day probably a year ago.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 16 years ago
cleo you big trouble maker you! Donât you know âignorance is blissâ! Hey Iâm just yanking your chain, friend. At least now we know and will be more careful. I donât understand, though, how did it get out there? And is there a way to stop it? Or better protect ourselves?
carmy almost 16 years ago
Lights back on, dinner will be late!
cleokaya almost 16 years ago
Dry, I donât think there is a way to stop it. That is why when you google a topic you can come up with hundreds of thousands of hits. I actually had an unusual thing happen to me about 4 years ago. I am and was a photographer. Back in the early 70âs I had a one night stand with a young lady passing through Vancouver. A year later I ran into her girlfriend who had been traveling with her. She mentioned that I had a child. I tried to do the right thing, but was rebuffed. 30+ years later, my daughter googles my name. We havenlât met but correspond by email, because she googled my name and hit on a website that has my photos.
carmy almost 16 years ago
Cleo, WOW! Iâm so glad you all were able to connect.
johnnydoc5 almost 16 years ago
I guess technically someone could have googled us and then saw our pics a couple weeks back, but I worry about everything I canât control and panic over the things I can. Not healthy, but that is who I am. Good Night Joy, good luck Doc.

Iâve been trying to find a friend of mine who I lost contact with when he moved to NY. Him having a last name of Smith, isnât helping much. Iâm still hopeful Iâll find him one day.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 16 years ago
johnnydoc youâre too young to sound like me!
JFri Yea, Iâm here but not for long! 24 and CSI is on tonight!
Cleo are you sure that is your child, but I guess it doesnât matter that much if you have developed a good relationship.
bmonk almost 16 years ago
@Drystyha, I hope that Iâm only a nag when someone wantâs me to be oneâŠ
carmy almost 16 years ago
Cleo, have you met her in person? If not, have you seen a photo of her?
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 16 years ago
bmonk you know I was kidding I hope! :-) But you know, we gotta keep on these younginsâ and since my kids basically blow me off, I practice on Tabby. LOL
carmy almost 16 years ago

I am a worrywort, it is what I do. Then I forget what I was worrying about. Good Night Akenta.
bmonk almost 16 years ago
@Dry, yes, I did know. But we gotta get our practice in somehow. And tabbylynn doesnât seem to mind. At least she still comes back. (So farâŠ)
bmonk almost 16 years ago
@johnnydoc5, you may be a worrywort, but you are not world class until you can worry about storm at the other end of the state, events that may never happen that will have totally obscure consequences that might be bad and so on.
Example: I was asked to get someone for the phone once. I tried, no answer. When I returned with the information he was not answering, the worrier got frantic. âWhere could he be?â
âI donât know. Is it an emergency?â
âIt might be!â
bmonk almost 16 years ago
@JFrisch419, Iâd start worrying when his three sons show up with their wives! :-D
bmonk almost 16 years ago
JFrisch419, are you heading over to ask if they need any help? They might offer you a ride for the next couple of monthsâŠ
The Duke 1 almost 16 years ago
Thought about it but theyâre all carrying big sticks and signs that say âNo Ridersâ!
cleokaya almost 16 years ago
carmy & Dry, you two are pretty sharp cookies. I just try to be a stable source of info.
cleokaya almost 16 years ago
OhâŠand yes, I have seen pictures and she looks nothing like me. But, as a baby, she looked exactly like me. Itâs 50/50, but I want her to feel like I do not care if I am the father or not, but that I can care, because she hasnât experienced someone who cares.
bmonk almost 16 years ago
cleokaya, all we can do is make the world a better place for having been here. It sound like you are doing that for your daughter. So the genetics of the case donât matter in the least.
carmy almost 16 years ago
Cleo, you are doing a wonderful thing for this woman (who may or may not be your daughter). Given her age and what she is going through, why rock the boat? Having someone that genuinely cares for her should definitely be a great blessing for her (and you).
johnnydoc5 almost 16 years ago
I try not to be a worrier, but I canât help it. I have seen bad things and always worry that they could be worse. But I try not to let others see me worry. JFri, that is very selfish of your neighbors, not to let anyone who is willing to help ride along. Cleo, the cynic in me says not to trust her, but you know more than I do.
tabbylynn almost 16 years ago
Cleo what you are doing is great. it shows how good of a person you are. it is hard to belive anyone now days, but if you are helping her out by being a sweet caring person. its nice of you.
i am a worrier also i have marks in my mouth to show it.
tabbylynn almost 16 years ago
going to bed all. good night. i need more sleep then what i am getting pulse i have some stuff to pack and get ready for tomororw. night. talk to you all later. peace and love. dont stay up to late and lave me 100 comments to make. :D lol
