Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Doc: Whoa, are you late for work? Help with the coffee, please, and Iâll set out the bagels. We also have donuts today, and fresh fruit smoothies to counteract the effects of the donuts.
Doc: Iâm sorry to hear that. :-( Msn was down yesterday, and I didnât get online until 8:30 PM, so thank you for cluing me in. Iâm glad that you get sick pay. Iâm sure that your sweetie will take good care of you.
WOW, Dry I discovered how to post & not go back to page 1! Go to right side of the cartoon and click on Current after you have hit the post comment button!
Yeah, good to have another night owl! Iâve got some left over Vicodin, if you need it! Should have popped one tonight! Shhhhhhhh, donât tell anyone but some of us played hookey today and rode ATVâs in the sand dunes! Hand hurts like h-e-double hockey sticks but it was worth it to ride with my son!
docT I know exactly what you mean! I shattered my right shoulder back in â85 and they kept me comfortable with multiple shots of Demerol! I swear, if I didnât hate needles so much I might have become an addict! (JUST kidding!)
Well I upgraded to IE* and now my Outlook Express for e-mail doesnât work. âSymantec Service Framework has encountered a problem, yada yadaâ HELP!
Dry, Iâm with you. Donât use Plan B Winky!
Good Morning Tribe, Hope everyone is doing well. Doc and JFri, I read your comments on painkillers. I was prescribed Percocet too. I only took 1 and no more after that. I like to keep senses and that stuff threw me way out there.
Dry, sorry I canât help you with your âputer problem. I do know that sometimes you have to remove a program and then re-install it. I donât think you should try that with the Outlook though, you will probably lose all your info on there.
carmy I did a disk clean up and have my Outlook Express working again. How long it will last is anyoneâs guess! Got rid of a couple of rarely used programs which I didnât recognize, took a chance on that one!
Hey is the commissary as good as it used to be? When my husband was in the service I did most of my shopping there. Since youâre navy, do they call it the BX instead of PX?
Good morning all. Hereâs hoping you feel better this morning doctortoon. We have approached the weekend and all good big top posters begin to think of partying. It is supposed to be sunny here and it is this morning. I am tired of clouds and rain. So, with this sun, I am ready to kick up my heals and let loose.
JFri thanks for that very useful tip. I have always wished I did not have to go back to page one every time I make a comment. I also wish that when I make a comment that I could stay in my queue of comics instead of having to keep track of which number I am on and then google to the next strip.
Good Morning All!
Doc hope youâre feeling better soon, although by the sound of all this painkiller talk, youâre probably not feeling much of anything right nowâŠ
There once was a commenter named Docâ
Whose throat hurt whenever he talked.
Although he felt dead,
âItâs bronchitisâ they said,
But the drugs they gave totally rocked!
Dry, the commissary is really good. The prices are lower than regular stores and I find certain items there that I canât find elsewhere, plus no tax on the non-food items. We donât say PX or BX, itâs the NEX (Navy exchange). Thatâs where I got my couch/love seat sectional for 290.00 (no tax).
Good morning everyone!
Doc and JFri, listening to all the talk about the various painkillers you need makes me glad that my clumsiness hasnât resulted in quite so many broken bones. *DF*, I like your limerick.
Response from last night: Tabby I guess the only other thing to wish would be Happy Days.
Carmy - I have a âBackâ button at the top of my keyboard and after I post, I hit back and it returns to previous page with my recent comment. Well, it works MOST the time.
Rad, I do that too sometimes with the âbackâ button.
Doc, sometimes a bad thing can become a good thing. I took a bad fall and my lower right side kept hurting. I went to the doctor and thatâs when they discovered the cancer. If I hadnât of fallen, I may not have gotten treatment in time.
Every one keeps telling me âJust wait until youâre 40, just wait until youâre 50, just wait until youâre 60.â Iâm In my 50âs and still have only a few minor aches and pains now and then.
Morning all! Sneaking in to say âhiâ before we all get going this AM! tabby EVERYTHING will be fineâŠ.you just need to believe that. I have a saying that goes like this: Life cruises right along but every now and then you have to squeeze through a knot hole. It hurts to squeeze through but once you pass it life cruises for a while again! Trust me, this is very true! DF* great limerick but shame on you for making *docT laugh! Joy? Did that pirate come back & sweep you off your feet again? Or is it just a hangover????
ok, new person hereâŠ.the air is starting to become breathableâŠâŠ
soâŠâŠif I may be so bold to comment on sayâŠ..âfamily circleâ
does anyone here have an opinion on the glimpses of grampa in heavenâŠ.where all the heaven occcupants are all adults and all are actually wearing white robes (not snuggies!) and sandals and are all hanging out walking on clouds
hah? anybody? I mean surely this is worth just a bit of eye rolling âŠ..
Iâm trying to be nice here, but PLEASE!
so i have yet to read this, but i am home. i just have a lot to do. i think i am okay today. i will be back as soon as i can get away. just busy as heck. later you guys and gals. peace and love.
New face? Hi, Nighthawks. I know nothing about politics and even less about Religion although I do think everyone has some touch of spiritualism. Iâd rather have a toga party with wings, a little harp and sandles than a speedo with clogs. Not a pretty picture.
I hit a bunch of growth spurts the past couple of years and since then my bones have seemed much more brittle. (jumping sucks now). I can still do all those things that I used to, but now I feel it the next day. BTW, get well soon Doc.
Doct thanks. so i am thinking of taking a little nap. my head hurts and my eyes are tired. who knows how it will turn out. i think ill try to take a nap and then ill go jump. if i dont sleep, ill be back in a few. if i do then idk when ill be back.
Back from my nap. as soon as a fall asleep, as always my alarm goes off. i got to get a move on. sigh. i need more sleep, but im going to my moms house tonight and have lots to do. bbl
dry and cleo you to are so crazy. i dont want to see anybody dancing nacked anytime at all. lol i dont care if it is a realy hot guy or not. lol Cleo sorry
speaking of nacked. my brother was just walking around the house in nothing but boxers. GROSS yucky. lord help me.
doc you better quit taking those meds. Weâre getting sick and tired of you showing up for two minutes and then taking a nap again! I guess youâre like Wink, you hibernate in spurts, huh? :-D
Pish! My bones may hurt from time to time, but it doesnât stop me. I just ran around a playground with my younger brothers, and I am just peachy thank you.
I had to hit back space and then refresh. My comment was still sitting in the box though.
Anyway, I came home and turned on my computers. My other computer started with a blue screen of death. It took around 3 tries before it started up. I hope itâs not going to die. I like to use that one to chat here while I play my games.
Pookid thanks for all of your love and suport. it means a lot to me.. thank you all of you.
also Pookid what you said yesterday on dog eat dougâŠpookid54 says:
TabbyâŠ.I can SOOOOO relate. At my age, life is one big brain fart. So donât sweat the small ones. And Iâm second bestâŠ.youâre first.* Worry about doc for other reasons. Heâs hurt, poor guy!
i highlited the part that melted me. thanks for that. if i would have been cloeser to crying i would have been crying agian. your so sweet. thanks.
so guys and gals i have so sad news to report. i must be getting off. i will be leaving for the weekend in about 30 min. so you all take care. peace and love. Happy mothers day to all of you moms. take care this weekend. love me.
When did I ask for sympathy? I was just stating that I crossed the point of no resiliency. Now I have to think before I do stupid things. It is one of those steps towards maturity that I may or may not hit. Letâs give Tabby a pity party, she has a tough transition ahead of her.
doctortoon isnât tired from the meds. His girlfriend has been squeezing all of the energy out of the poor boy. And actually he probably didnât have bronchitis sheâs just kept him up to late smootching and other good stuff. Okey, got to stopâŠimagination kicking in, back off Cleo, back off.
tabbylynn, itâs good youâve got a weekend ahead of you. You need a chance to just relax and think about other things. Keep the vision of your brother in his boxers forefront in your imagination and you wonât be sad youâll be thinking of him in his briefs with the little yellow duckies all over them.
Whoa!, WHOA!, WHOA!! - Iâve been away for a few hours and just caught up on the comments.
You people are very bored if you think that I would run around in ⊠(I canât even go there.)
eee-YEW!!!
My comment to Nighthawks concerning âwhere all the heaven occupants are all adults and all are actually wearing white robes (not snuggies!) and sandals and are all hanging out walking on cloudsâ. I believe I said I knew nothing about religion, but would rather have a toga party with wings, a little harp and sandals; and implying âRATHER THANâ the alternative.
.
I am quite happy to let Cleokaya be our resident Stud Muffin Hunk-O-Rama. Iâm not out to put ANYONE through years of traumatic therapy.
pookid youâve got me worried when you mention that your first session is Monday. I went back through todayâs and yesterdayâs comments and didnât see anything. Are you all right?
Cleo I think Pookid meant that after images of Rad in speedo and clogs flashing through his brain, he now needs therapy (no offense, Rad). I would normally recommend an alien abduction instead, but after reading Brewster Rockit today, the side effects might be worse than the cure.
johnnydoc you sound like youâre mad! It was all in good fun! Youâre younger than most of us and we envy you, I think! At least I do! I would love to take about 20 years off my life and do a few things differently! I didnât mean to upset you!
Just dandy now, thank you, that must have been the weakest flu ever. I wasnât even that horribly sick yesterday.
Rad, I wasnât sure if that was a zinger or if it was sincere, again the sarcasm is hard to read.
It looked like Raven used one of FLSâs own toons to draw attention to his (FLSâs) attacks on others. At least thatâs my take from how Attyush called it.
Carmy: You mentioned earlier today that you cancer was found after a fall. Because you still had pain, you went back to your Dr. Mine was found because I kept insisting that something was wrong. Know your body is my advice to all of you. If something doesnât feel normal, get it checked out. My cancer was discovered at stage 1. I was very fortunate.
Well, I am back after dinner and it looks like I might be arriving just as everybody else is hitting the sheets. Oh, woe is me, poor cleo, all alone, no one around. Alright, did I do a pretty good job of feeling sorry for myself, or what? doctortoon is going to be up all night if he is indeed sleeping. In my own mind itâs more than likely some nefarious activity.
Marg, I didnât know you had cancer too. Is it gone now? That is great advice about âknow your bodyâ.
Iâve often heard that constant fatigue is a big warning signal. Well, I had that but, with my husband often out at sea and taking care of 4 daughters with the youngest being autistic, of course I was always tired, who wouldnât be?
Carmy: Your tiredness wouldnât seem out of place at all. Iâm glad that you went back and got the pain checked out. I had the cancer in 1995, so my 10 years passed in 2005. I have had skin cancer, too, so I go to my dermatologist once a year. Many years of working on a tan eventually catches up to you. You talked a while ago about not losing your hair, and feeling bad when a woman who had lost hers questioned why you hadnât. I feel the same way about not needing chemo because they caught my cancer early enough. Keep fighting. You have a great sense of humor, and great faith, and these things will help you immensely. (((Carmy)))
Carmy and Marg I wish you both much luck and happy thoughts and prayers. Cleo, you are not the only one awake now. However, I think that you will be soon. I am off to bed now. Peace and love friends. (((HUGS))): for everyone take as needed. :)
Just popped in to say goodnight all. Sounds like we all have trials set out for us. Hereâs hoping we all find what we need to get through them. I wish all a good nightâs rest and pleasant dreams.

Just popped in to say goodnight all. Sounds like we all have trials set out for us. Hereâs hoping we all find what we need to get through them. I wish all a good nightâs rest and pleasant dreams.
