Hi bye all i must be going out to face the cold….. well cool in drys case… the school…. and the otho. lets see what they do to my braces today. :( he a great day all peace and love.
Dry - It was the Bookers that made me forget your breakfast request. Accept my absolute apology my dear. Thank you JFri for making her highness her request.
Doc - Promise ring huh? Somebody is hoping for some brownie points.
Dry - I read these comments in another forum, and thought you might appreciate them.
“I used to complain about speeders on my street. The complaints I felt always fell upon deaf ears. I went wally world and bought a dozen of those plastic bounce balls (about the size of a basketball) and took them home and parked in the driveway. Then set up my chair between my car and my wife’s. Armed with my plastic speed bumps I waited until for speeders to race down the street. Then when they were a house away I would roll one down the driveway right out in front of the speeding car. They would slam on their brakes and come to a stop. I would run out and tell them I was sorry the ball got away from the kids playing in the front yard. After a while the word got around and things really slowed down on my street.”
“An old “Clint Eastwood” type in my neighborhood when I was a kid would wait until trash day and go across the street and tie a lenghth of parachute cord to the neighbor’s trash can. Then as a speeder was approaching he would hook the other end to his can and step back into the bushes. The cord would usually catch on their front bumper and yank both cans into the sides of the car until they came to a screeching halt. He was kind of a cranky old man but he never did yell at us to “get off his lawn”.
Kinda miss the old guy…”
Sorry Doc, It just occurred to me, I forgot to say Congratulations. Went back and read my comment about being semi-engaged, thought I had said it there. I stayed up way too late last night! See what happens, you begin to lose your mind (NO COMMENTS PLEASE!). Anyway, congratulations Sir, I hope wildcheetah knows what she’s doing! :-)
Dry - I admit, the one with the large balls was appealing to me. Hitting a ball probably wouldn’t do much to the car, but maybe the driver would start to realize that the ball could have been a child. Nah, the driver’s probably not that smart. Someone else suggested a bowling ball, but I thought that was going too far.
We haven’t lived on a through street, so haven’t had that problem.
Doc 4 is better than 3 but don’t come crying to us if you get sick! Oh wait, you have wildcheetah! I’ll have to ask her how big a baby you are when you’re sick! :-)
Hey Everyone!
Thank you all for the hugs and good luck wishes!
It was a long day and I’m a bit tired so I’m going to take a little catnap. I’ll see you later.
I HATE braces!!! I can’t talk. i have some wire on my palet to bring my spaces in and i have new wires that i have never seen before. they are odd and they hurt and i am going to go cry soon. sigh.
Because they look ugly now! Don’t worry there are enough seeds on the ground, they’ll be back next year! As that Louisiana chef Justin Wilson used to say “Gar Un TEED”!
Dry - Out here morning glories are an invasive species. We do a whole lotta yankin’ and pullin’ if we get them in our yard. Fortunately, it is not in our yard. For us, it is ivy, blackberry and St. John’s Wart, as I have said so many, many, many, many times. Will I win the battle? Don’t count me out, but don’t count out the plants either. LOL
cleo they probably are invasive here too, lord knows I get tons of them coming up, but they are so pretty and all different colors. I yank the ones I don’t want as I see them coming up.
Ugh! I was given a piece of pumpkin pie to take home a week ago Sunday. Wrapped in plastic. In the bottom of a canvas bag. That I haven’t looked in since.
You are a man after my own Bookers JFri. As they say birds of a feather. Hmm, makes me think of Wild Turkey, not as good as Bookers, but I’ll take it, when offered.
JFri - You and I are lucky, to live in wine country and micro brew country. Granted bourbon is a kentucky thing, but it is here and I support my local liquor store.
No JFri I didn’t know that you lived in Kentucky. If you lived in Bardstown it would explain a lot, especially Booker Noe’s. Wonder what Dry would choose as a chaser?
I did go to school across the Ohio River in S. Indiana–St. Meinrad, Tell City, Santa Clause, Jasper, Dale–I was all over much of that part of the state.
They had stills there too–but not very many that paid taxes to the gover’ment.
bro is getting on now to do hw and im about go to bed i am in way tomuch pain to stay awake maybe i can sleep through it. love you all peace and love. bye see ya tomorrow sorry i didnt talk much.
Hanging in there, though the side effects seem stronger tonight than normal. What ever normal is in the doctor’s opinion, that is! Off and on I feel fairly decent. Thanks for asking.
JFri et al I just happened to revisit For Heaven’s Sake and apologized to Ray C. If you know him, let him know.
You are right. I WAS tired and not thinking straight. I started replying to him and then rambled on about deborah who was the one who quoted the passage in the first place. I didn’t notice that it looked like I was ticked off at Ray C- which I wasn’t.
Shika, I don’t know him. I just went over there to see what all the flap was about & saw his comment. Knowing you as I do I felt compelled to let him know that you really are a nice lady!
JFri, I’ve only been 21 for 3 days, but I have known you long enough to know that it should be alcohol related!
Shika, school’s going to need some tweaking. How about you?
Shika They are deep fried kernals of corn salted to perfection! I think they orignated with the Pennsylvania Dutch, not sure, but contrary TO SOME PEOPLE’S OPINIONS they are delicious!
Cleo well, tuna, and (yes I know perfect tuna is PINK) with wasabi sauce
lobster
salmon
Beef tenderloin
Flat Iron Steak
Rigatoni with HOT sausage and peppers
Spaghetti and meatballs with HOT sausage
Chicken Corn Soup
You see, one is not enough!! LOL! Should I go on?
Subway tuna sub with EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA JALAPENOS
Clam chowder (New England Style) or a lobster bisque, Caesar salad (with anchovies), whole Maine lobster with garlic mashed potatoes, fresh sourdough bread, steamed asparagus and a nice late harvest Riesling!!
Hi yyyguy!
Dry, they were Cheez Its, they are crackers, that have a cheese flavor. I don’t really drink on the weekdays. Maybe with dinner.
Carmy, like I said, I will eat just about anything! Besides, how can you know without tasting?
And on that bombshell, it is time for bed.
Good night all,
peace and love!
So Cleo asked us, well me first, for our favorite foods and disappears on us! Do you suppose he’s back there whipping up our favorite dishes as we type?
as for favourite foods, mine is almost anything. (but i’m partial to mushrooms, jalapenos, peanut butter, (not all together) good dark ales, rum, whisky, gin, (also not all together, except in emergencies) burgers, junk food of almost any sort except corn nuts and pork rinds - sorry Dry, and cake. lots and lots of cake.) about the only things i don’t like are anchovies, seafood soups, and dill pickle flavoured potato chips.
as for craziness, i used to wear an old “frosh week” tee shirt with a silk screened plate from Alice in Wonderland on it that said, “You must be mad, or you wouldn’t have come here.” i should fit in well with this bunch of yappy nuts, so that’s why i stay.
almost forgot to mention licorice flavoured ice cream. i hate black licorice and anything that tastes like it. imagine, a dutch boy who doesn’t like “drop”
hey Owsly if you ever read this, i’d love to know the song title so i can look it up on you tube or some such. i heard it once, in 1975, in a residence room at my university (it had been recorded off a campus radio broadcast) and the parts of it i remember have stuck with me all these years. thanks for the reminder!
i don’t need a machete. i have my own home made knife - though i keep it at work to cut oranges when i put them in my lunch. i’ve had too many comments about the ‘shank’ to count, but by now everyone knows it isn’t an offensive weapon. the things some people worry about!
Carmy you are SO right. i treated my kid brother to an ice cream one time (he’s seven years younger and WAS a kid at the time) and that’s the flavour he chose. it turned his tongue black.
yyyguyI loved them, and a couple of years ago Lays introduced them here and now another company makes them too. I love anything that has a vinegar, dill, or HOT taste to it!
anyway, it’s been nice mingling, but i have a couple of things that need doing and will have to start doing them. i will keep the tab open for a while, though and will say sayonara before i leave for the night.
You must need an acquired taste for some of those food items you all are mentioning. I’m too much of a “plain jane.”
I can eat spicy foods, but not “burn your tongue off” hot.

Cleo’s lit. That explains it.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
Ugh! I was given a piece of pumpkin pie to take home a week ago Sunday. Wrapped in plastic. In the bottom of a canvas bag. That I haven’t looked in since.
Rotten pumpkin is not appetizing. It stinks.
:-( It was home-made too.

cleokaya about 15 years ago
Well, by golly you finally show up JFri. Lucky I always have a supply of Bookers, which I do my best to deplete on a regular basis.
cleokaya about 15 years ago
Dry - Yes naked and lit. Doesn’t it make you think of Rushmore. LOL
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Ahhhhhhhhh, THANKS, cleo!!! MUCH better!!!
cleokaya about 15 years ago
JFri - The breathing thing is a bit stinky. I prefer bourbon breath. Here you go buddy. Toss it back, it will do me good.
cleokaya about 15 years ago
You are a man after my own Bookers JFri. As they say birds of a feather. Hmm, makes me think of Wild Turkey, not as good as Bookers, but I’ll take it, when offered.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
That was labored breathing due to a lack of Bookers, dude!
johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
Time for a little homework. bbl
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Dry left because we didn’t offer her a beer………..I’ll just uncap a bottle of Yuengling and let the aroma waft over her way and see what happens……….
tabbylynn about 15 years ago
i cant eat i cant drink i cant think i cant talk. i might as well just go to bed.
cleokaya about 15 years ago
JFri - You and I are lucky, to live in wine country and micro brew country. Granted bourbon is a kentucky thing, but it is here and I support my local liquor store.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Aye, Cap’n cleo!!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
You know I used to live in Kentucky, don’t you?
tabbylynn about 15 years ago
Jfri one of my favorite teachers in HS used to live in Kentucky…. he calls Louisiana “Pot whole Hell” lol its true.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
How about 2 Yuenglings with lime to start? And a chaser!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
You drive a hard bargain, Dry. DEAL!!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
tabby, do you know where in Kentucky??
cleokaya about 15 years ago
No JFri I didn’t know that you lived in Kentucky. If you lived in Bardstown it would explain a lot, especially Booker Noe’s. Wonder what Dry would choose as a chaser?
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
As long as we be cool, bigg!
bmonk about 15 years ago
I did go to school across the Ohio River in S. Indiana–St. Meinrad, Tell City, Santa Clause, Jasper, Dale–I was all over much of that part of the state.
They had stills there too–but not very many that paid taxes to the gover’ment.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
That’s guvamint, bmonk! I lived near Bardstown Rd., cleo!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Used to be you stayed OUT of Iriquois Park after dark, lest you have a “run in” with the moonshiners!
tabbylynn about 15 years ago
Jfri i can find out
its time to eat bbl maybe

johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
Break time from homework. How is everybody this fine evening?
cleokaya about 15 years ago
Doc - You will proceed with a heavy load but a light heart.
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
Cleo
Hanging in there, though the side effects seem stronger tonight than normal. What ever normal is in the doctor’s opinion, that is! Off and on I feel fairly decent. Thanks for asking.
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
Good Night Doc. Good Luck!!
cleokaya about 15 years ago
Terry - Glad to hear that all in all things are as good as can be.
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
Bear with me all, it appears I may be having some technical difficulties with my email setup. Not sure?
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
Cleo
Hey, I am here and present with family and friends!! What more can I ask for?
DON’T ASK! LOL
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
How are you doing, Johnny?
johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
Enjoying the warm spell. Even have the windows open. It is refreshing, because we haven’t used the thermostat yet, and it was getting pretty chilly.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
I’m still reading folks. I need a break, even if only a few minutes.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
Missed you again Doc! I hope your night goes well.
You need to get more sleep though.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
Cleo What’s your avatart thinking of now?
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
Hello Shika!
I thought I was going to miss you tonight!!
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
Missed bmonk too I see.
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
It’s amazing how much ”The Love Bug” helps when it comes to a lack of sleep! LOL
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Shika, butterhorns are a pastry…….very yummy! Been waiting for you to show up so I could explain.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
cleo, those Yuenglings are getting warm! Where did Dry go?
johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
What are Yuenglings?
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Beer, Mr. I’m 21 now!!
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
Hmm AvaTART. I must be hungry! lol
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
May I have a Butterhorn please, Mr. JFri? If you read my post to cleo, I seem to have pastry on the mind.
:-D
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
Hi johnny How’s the school work coming along?
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
JFri If the beer is warm, maybe Dry will smell it’s wafting aroma.
Of course, she won’t want to drink a warm beer! lol
Could I have half of it to help me sleep tonight? Although I’m barely awake as it is.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Shika, I don’t know him. I just went over there to see what all the flap was about & saw his comment. Knowing you as I do I felt compelled to let him know that you really are a nice lady!
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
Thanks. I usually don’t post like that, but I’m doing all this scripture work, so I couldn’t let it pass.
I was trying to explain it as best I could, although I don’t think I did.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
I shouldn’t be here. My computer has been backing up files since last night. Something really wrong here.
carmy about 15 years ago
Hi again! I’m catching up on all the comments. BBL
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
I did it again. turned the page. I never even know what number it is until that happens.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
Carmy You’ve been catching up on the comments all night.
are we really that yappy?
don’t answer that!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Shika, a butterhorn AND half a warm Yuengling coming up! Don’t sweat the other thing. I think he understood my explanation!
johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
JFri, I’ve only been 21 for 3 days, but I have known you long enough to know that it should be alcohol related! Shika, school’s going to need some tweaking. How about you?
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Gee, johnny, what, exactly, are you trying to tell me here? BTW, you should be VERY afraid of the Hawkeyes!!!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Getchyerassoverhereanddrinkthisbeer!!
johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
(hangs head) We already lost to them!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Oooooops, sorry! They have a VERY good team this year. The Huskers were a no show against Texas Tech last Saturday.
johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
That’s a shame.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Shika You are correct. I hate warm beer!
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
JFri! Who are you ranting at?
Me? I was reading my mail. took a while.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
johnny My school work is very heavy- my backpack weighs a ton, lol
I’m surviving though.
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Shiha, I wouldn’t rant at you…..Dry, on the other hand!!!
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
I meant Tribe
I’m glad we can chill together.
Thanks for the pastry and the half beer JFri- I have a nice pilsner glass just for the occasion.
LOL Don’t tell me I can’t drink beer out of a pilsner. That all I have. Or should I use my wine goblets?
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
I see that JFri. That beer went to my head pretty fast. I’m going to bed –
any minute now. lol
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Without anybody getting their minds in the gutter, has anyone ever eaten corn nuts?
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Yes and they are awful!
Shikamoo Premium Member about 15 years ago
No Dry what are they?
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
JFRi AWFUL?? Are you nuts, man? I’m sitting here eating a bag of them! Loaded with salt!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Shika They are deep fried kernals of corn salted to perfection! I think they orignated with the Pennsylvania Dutch, not sure, but contrary TO SOME PEOPLE’S OPINIONS they are delicious!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Shika actually I correct myself, they are TOASTED NOT DEEP FRIED! And I just ate the last one! :-(
carmy about 15 years ago
I used to eat corn nuts when my teeth were in better condition. I finally caught up on everything here and there. WHEW!
cleokaya about 15 years ago

Gourmet dining has different classes, obviously you are in the red neck section of the all you can eat parlor.
I, however, am in the fine dining, celebrity chef section of the food channel.
But, heck, who cares, #*WE BOTH LOVE FOOD
and that is the only thing that matters.
Got a burger?
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
Corn nuts are made both roasted and deep fried. Depends where and by who.
cleokaya about 15 years ago
Dry - describe your favorite burger or other main course item, then I will do the same.
carmy about 15 years ago
The redneck section? LMBO!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
cleokaya about 15 years ago
Dry - and I hope your understand that I was just kidding about the redneck comment.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Heck I’ll eat almost anything! I just love FOOD!!!
cleokaya about 15 years ago
Me too.
carmy about 15 years ago
Speaking of food, daughter #1 made one of those funfetti cakes. It’s calling to me now. I’ll get some to share with you all.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Doggie kibbles??
johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
Cleo, I would like to try the cuisine that you describe, but I am the human garbage disposal, I will eat just about anything.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Man, I take the dog for a walk and you go all YAPPY on me!!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Cleo well, tuna, and (yes I know perfect tuna is PINK) with wasabi sauce lobster salmon Beef tenderloin Flat Iron Steak Rigatoni with HOT sausage and peppers Spaghetti and meatballs with HOT sausage Chicken Corn Soup You see, one is not enough!! LOL! Should I go on? Subway tuna sub with EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA JALAPENOS
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
I’m with Johnny, I’m not a picky eater.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Not eating doggie kibbles is NOT being picky!
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
So true!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
johnny I will try anything as long as no tree nuts are involved! Anybody ever have pickled pigs feet?
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
JFri I’ll probably never hear the end of this but when I was about 12 my friend and I decided to try one of my dogs doggie biscuits. Wasn’t too bad!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Gag me with a spoon on THAT one!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
So where is your list Cleo? I just practically gave you a restaurant menu!
carmy about 15 years ago
Prime rib (rare), restuffed potatoes and steamed aspargus.
COWBOY7 about 15 years ago
Good Night Tribe.
I am tired and don’t feel well at all. I’ll see ya on the other side of the mountain.
Peace and Love All!carmy about 15 years ago
Goodnight (((((((Terry!))))))) Hope you feel better soon.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Clam chowder (New England Style) or a lobster bisque, Caesar salad (with anchovies), whole Maine lobster with garlic mashed potatoes, fresh sourdough bread, steamed asparagus and a nice late harvest Riesling!!
johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
Here’s my list:
Spicy cheez its.
(this is of what we’re eating now right?)
johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
Good night Terry Hope ya feel better soon! as for those “flavored” dog treats, the bacon ones don’t taste like bacon!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Dry’s dream cuisine……doggie biscuits!!!
SNERK!!!!!Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Carmy Delicious! Yes!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
johnny spicy cheese, excellent but we need some good crackers to go with! And since you are of legal age, a good wine as well!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
JFri also yes, but though I like garlic mashed potatoes, I like mine better, and everything else GOOD CHOICE!
carmy about 15 years ago
Dry, the doggie biscuit was probably good for your fangs, uh teeth! You too, Johnny?
yyyguy about 15 years ago
just got in, and just on page two, but i have to chime in with my own Congrats, DocT
carmy about 15 years ago
Hi yyyguy!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Whoa JFri, just caught “with anchovies”, put ‘er there! HIgh five to you!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Hey, I know what I’m doing!!!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Okay JFri, so because I ate plain doggie biscuits and johnny ate bacon flavored, he’s the gourmet huh? :-P
johnnydoc5 about 15 years ago
Hi yyyguy! Dry, they were Cheez Its, they are crackers, that have a cheese flavor. I don’t really drink on the weekdays. Maybe with dinner. Carmy, like I said, I will eat just about anything! Besides, how can you know without tasting? And on that bombshell, it is time for bed. Good night all, peace and love!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
YUP!!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
hi yyyguy! Run for your life! We’re getting crazy over here!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Carmy geez! See if I lend you my machete again!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Run, yyy, RUN!!!!
carmy about 15 years ago
Goodnight Johnny! You’re absolutely right, you can’t know until you taste it. So now you know!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
So Cleo asked us, well me first, for our favorite foods and disappears on us! Do you suppose he’s back there whipping up our favorite dishes as we type?
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
It was CARMY’S machete, Dry!!! You are just returning it to it’s rightful owner!!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Night johnny!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
No JFri, I had one stashed to us on a certain bird if needed, and I lent it to her! Check the initials on the handle!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
carmy about 15 years ago
Thank you, JFri! I was just about to remind Dry about that too. How soon they forget!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Carmy
yyyguy about 15 years ago
I ain’t running any farther! i just caught up
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Hey, any time, Carmy!!
carmy about 15 years ago
JFri, watch your neck, I think she’s talking about you!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Well now that you have your machete back…….no worries!!!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
yyyguy about 15 years ago
as for favourite foods, mine is almost anything. (but i’m partial to mushrooms, jalapenos, peanut butter, (not all together) good dark ales, rum, whisky, gin, (also not all together, except in emergencies) burgers, junk food of almost any sort except corn nuts and pork rinds - sorry Dry, and cake. lots and lots of cake.) about the only things i don’t like are anchovies, seafood soups, and dill pickle flavoured potato chips.
carmy about 15 years ago
We’re good.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Who’s good?
yyyguy about 15 years ago
as for craziness, i used to wear an old “frosh week” tee shirt with a silk screened plate from Alice in Wonderland on it that said, “You must be mad, or you wouldn’t have come here.” i should fit in well with this bunch of yappy nuts, so that’s why i stay.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Did Dry go night night?
carmy about 15 years ago
JFri, I forgot what that means. yyguy, dill pickle flavored potato chips? YUCK!!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Too true, yyy!!
yyyguy about 15 years ago
as for Owsly’s post many eons ago regarding the 497 and a half feet of rope, there’s only one thing to say.
You’ve got to let it out, Captain!Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
What C? You have the wrong machete, turd!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Carmy, kiss……
carmy about 15 years ago
JFri, I meant that I won’t use the machete on you. yyyguy, your absolutely right. You fit right in with these yappy nuts!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Just ran it up the flagpole to see if anyone remembered!!
yyyguy about 15 years ago
almost forgot to mention licorice flavoured ice cream. i hate black licorice and anything that tastes like it. imagine, a dutch boy who doesn’t like “drop”
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
JFrI if you were doing what I think, you got it wrong (_?_)
ROFLMAO!!!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Thanks, Carmy!! I won’t sweat it, then!
carmy about 15 years ago
JFri, gotcha! Dry, I was worried that you got mad and took your toys and went home.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Carmy has ALL the machetes!
:-P :-P :-P :-P :-Pyyyguy about 15 years ago
hey Owsly if you ever read this, i’d love to know the song title so i can look it up on you tube or some such. i heard it once, in 1975, in a residence room at my university (it had been recorded off a campus radio broadcast) and the parts of it i remember have stuck with me all these years. thanks for the reminder!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Who doesn’t like dill pickle flavered potato chips? First time I had them was in Canada, yyyguy!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Well gee, maybe I will take my toys and go home, so there!
yyyguy about 15 years ago
i don’t need a machete. i have my own home made knife - though i keep it at work to cut oranges when i put them in my lunch. i’ve had too many comments about the ‘shank’ to count, but by now everyone knows it isn’t an offensive weapon. the things some people worry about!
carmy about 15 years ago
Licorice flavored ice cream!? Another YUCK!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
But my toys also include the Bookers Cleo left here, in my care!
yyyguy about 15 years ago
i’ve only ever seen them here, Dry and you’re welcome to them. pickle flavour belongs on beef (like burgers) not on potatoes. (IMHO)
carmy about 15 years ago
No Dry, please stay and play!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
Awwwww, Dry, don’t go!
yyyguy about 15 years ago
Carmy you are SO right. i treated my kid brother to an ice cream one time (he’s seven years younger and WAS a kid at the time) and that’s the flavour he chose. it turned his tongue black.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
yyyguyI loved them, and a couple of years ago Lays introduced them here and now another company makes them too. I love anything that has a vinegar, dill, or HOT taste to it!
yyyguy about 15 years ago
anyway, it’s been nice mingling, but i have a couple of things that need doing and will have to start doing them. i will keep the tab open for a while, though and will say sayonara before i leave for the night.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Yeah, now that you know I have the Bookers you want me to stay!
yyyguy about 15 years ago
Shika move to tell Dry i like spicy, and i like vinegar, just not the dill pickle chips.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 15 years ago
yyyguyever have pickled beef tongue? YUMMY!
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
(Sneaks Bookers from Dry’s hand)
carmy about 15 years ago
You must need an acquired taste for some of those food items you all are mentioning. I’m too much of a “plain jane.” I can eat spicy foods, but not “burn your tongue off” hot.
The Duke 1 about 15 years ago
I’m with you on THAT, Carmy!!
carmy about 15 years ago
very sneaky, JFri. She probably didn’t even notice. Dry, I do like beef tongue, just not pickled though.
