By the way, a bit of history:

From the 10th through the 13th Centuries, forks were fairly common among the wealthy in Byzantium, and in the 11th Century, a Byzantine wife of a Doge of Venice brought forks to Italy. Thanks for backing me up LoneWerewolf. I have to get over the feeling that I can’t put to much pressure on the sliding drawer. It certainly looks better than our old clunky desk that looks like it has been through a world war. My wife made this suggestion now she is in the office and has began complaining about the look of the desk. The desk has been in that room since the house was built and she said that the doors and trim have to come off to get it out.

Not talking religion here, just laying out the scenario.

I was with my bride at a Dave Ramsey financial session at our church Sunday night. At around 6:30 she began to have intense chest pain. We ran to the nearest ER which was just a few miles away. She was triaged there and then transported via ambulance to the hospital where her cardiologist practices. We spent the night there and just got home. EKG normal, nuclear scan normal, enzymes normal, all cardiac functions look great. She was given nitroglycerine which stopped the chest pain but cause the inevitable severe headache.

So, wht was the cause? Not certain yet, but it was not cardiac. That is good. Seems to be esophagial spasms. The esophagus responds to nitro in a similiiar fashion to myocardium, so it can be misleading.

Meanwhile, we are resting and probably headed to GI next.

So now we know what was next.

With my sliding shelf, I am just reluctant to lean my forearms on it as I type.

I have arms on my chair cleo N. C. I’m able to rest on those. They are adjustable. Otherwise, I’d wonder about that myself.
