Hey BMonk - how is Book 12 of WoT? I’ve almost picked it up a couple of times.

I’m finding it pretty good. Jordan had much of it written, apparently, so the style is not totally changed. But it does seem to give a bit more of the, I don’t know, structure than Jordan did–relative strengths of the Aes Sedai, for example.

And, there is some assurance that the whole cycle will be over with Book 14, probably in about 2012. So, even if this world ends, we can find out what happened in Randland…

Back from my mother’s house. I think I have the clothes dryer figured out. I’ve got to pick up a thermostatic switch tomorrow after I find out who has it. Then we’ll see.
