Dear puppybreath ~~

We have all missed you so much! I’ve missed you so much and was so worried, I even contacted GoComics to ask if they could get word to you (they, of course, never responded), just to see if you were OK. Even though you had stopped posting, we all sent you our good wishes that you were well consistently.

I’m so glad you’re back, but, of course, so sad that you’ve experienced so much horrific tragedy these past few months. The big mystery is why life hands us so many trials to face, sometimes so rapidly, that we don’t have time to process and grieve before the next one hits us. I am so sorry that this has happened to you, and appreciate how immobilized you must have been feeling.

It is a new year full of new beginnings. It sounds like you are starting to take steps to get back in the swing of things — to try to get back to normal, so to speak. My hope for you is that with the love from your friends, family and all the animal family that you have there with you….and all your friends here that care for you so much, each day will get better and better. So, puppybreath, welcome back and Happy New Year! A new year filled with love, happiness and peace to your and yours.
