Coming up next, an in-depth interview with Bruno. Then today’s call-in question “best snack found on a sidewalk”.It’s all dog all day here at WDOG.Now a word from our sponsor A Standard makers of toilet bowls.
Maxwell (my little guy in the avatar) would love that station, Fergus! He’s the only dog I’ve ever had that responds to dogs on TV or YouTube or wherever he hears them. All my others couldn’t be bothered. lol (Cuddles, stop your sour-grapes grousing.)
Good morning, Lonewolf, cleokaya, Dry, puppybreath, sugie, Grog, x_Tech, JP Steve, mightaswellbe and CDers everywhere!
@ mightaswellbe ~~ we do have “one in a million”, but smart?….maybe. The jury is still out on that. Max will often turn up his nose at steak, chicken or pork tidbits from our meals. How many dogs do you know that turn that down? He’s the first I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve had dogs all my life. But he’s a sweet little guy who has cuteness down to a science.BTW: Your shower experience in the barracks sounds a lot like the shower my folks had, only when my mother was in the shower, my father would forget and run the water in the kitchen. She would end up almost scalded or frozen, depending on which was interrupted. Anyway, she’d exit the bathroom “spitting bullets”. lol
x_Tech any word on dogsniff? I have been reading the past comments at Brevity. No offense, but if he linked to that porn, sight, well that was just dumb, but I did enjoy his comments.
Somehow that reminds me of me when I’m in a restaurant that plays country music. Hearing about some poor drunken sap’s problems is not conducive to maintaining a healthy appetite. It could be worse of course, at least it’s not karaoke. Or even worse, karaoke country music . Gotta go now, I’ve got friends in low places.
The sad part is Fellow Baby, he seems like a REALLY nice respectable young man, I really don’t think he has asked for this media attention, but he has handled it with dignity and carried his head high. Most of the media has set him up, and now I can just hear the press tomorrow. I don’t know why they went after him, most of the media, in a really bad way. Perhaps he scares them because of his courage and honesty. You know what I mean? He doesn’t flaunt his Chirstianity, if the media had let him alone, most people wouldn’t have thought that much about it. And why is his beliefs even a point of any discussions? He is one that kids can look up to, he has done so much for so many people. Its really sad what our society has become, IMHO.
Agreed, Fellow Baby We are all free to believe in what ever religion we choose to believe, or the right not to believe. It should not be the center of the media attention. I liked what the CBS pre game did – which is some of the media attention I’d like to see more of. And not just about Tebow. I know there are a few good men still out there. I’m just not sure who they are anymore.
Yes Fellow Baby Very well said. I agree, I’m not sure anymore either, who they are, but I think Tim is one of them genuinely. The “Tebow naysayers” are going to have a field day with this, poor guy!Are you talking about the little piece I saw with that little girl and her family and he went to see them, and he got them seats at the game? I only saw a part of that. Well if his faith is as strong as I think it is, he will get through this, and that alone, will be a testament to him.
Tracy and Hepburn, OH YES! Good choice Fellow Baby!
I checked back to the end of the game, I found it interesting that even though Denver got stomped the media cameras were all over Tebow. I also found it interesting that so many Patriots went to him and hugged him and shook his hand etc. except for the RB Brady, No I don’t mean Running Back, you can figure it out! :-D One of the announcers also said how so many had doubted Tim in H.S. and college and how many championships he won that proved them wrong, that he is a first year starter, and the Broncos haven’t done this well in a LONG time. Anywho, I’m done for now with my Tebow rant! As far as I am concerned, that young man is ONE CLASS ACT! AND I WISH HIM GOD SPEED AND MANY GOOD THOUGHTS!

Fellow Baby, WAS THAT A GAME OR WAS THAT A GAME? WHOA BABY! CANDLESTICK PARK IS ROCKING!
Now on to Tebow and company!
GROG Premium Member about 13 years ago
My appologies, Fellow Baby, but I haven’t cheered for the Broncos since Elway retired and they changed their uniforms. Go, Patroits!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 13 years ago
No worries, Fellow Baby! I’m a Tebow fan of late, not a Broncos fan! :-)

Must be Tee-off time.

I’m sorry. I’m sick of all the media attention he’s been getting. Of course, some of it he’s getting for the right reason.

But then all kids should be able to look up to their heroes. It’s too bad so many these days don’t live up to those expectations.

GROG Premium Member about 13 years ago
