Finally I am back on gocomics. I installed a new operating system yesterday and it messed up all of my apps. I am talking serious withdrawal here!

cleo yes, it is horrible when we can’t get on gocomics, isn’t it? I feel your pain, believe me!

@Stel,Snuggles are always nice (at least with a clean pet- that’s better than a captive mink in “Priceless”) but I prefer a man ;-PI guess we all had trouble yesterday and this morning. I’m finally making the rounds.

For those of you who could not see the Iditarod picture I posted earlier (it’s still showing on my PC…another mystery!):

Im a tad bit annoyed this evening. My pay cheque did not make it to me.The main office has bin sending pay checks to those of us that live further away from the office that is in Newport. I live ten miles north of that office, and my clients live north of me. Going to the office to get my pay check can be problematic, at best.Im not going to be hurt by getting paid late, its the annoyance factor that has me. Ive bin getting my check after my afternoon client and going to my bank (north of me), doing my banking, and treating myself to a nice early dinner before going to my evening client.Not only am i not going to get that “treat” tonight, but my mail runs in the afternoon, late afternoon on saturday so i will be very low on liquid assets tomorrow (a day off), and my grocery shopping is going to be done on a saturday afternoon. No fun.

They don’t have direct deposit… : (

Well that sucks. As it is, I may go to the bank once a month, maybe. For me, being paid by check again would be like going back to stone knives and bear skins.

Well, Fellow Baby, I’ve just seen Johnny and the boys Watergate it. With that failure, it’s now on to plan B. But A.C. Still has to give Jennifer the bad news.

And then there’s plan C: Herb. But it’s plan D that gets those negatives back.

Fellow Baby I haven’t seen that episode in YEARS, but if memory serves, isn’t it Bailey and Mr. Carlson who save the day? I remember Bailey, I believe wearing a stylish hat and a trenchcoat?

Yes, I switched to direct deposit a few years ago myself. I was ususally in town on Fridays, so I stopped at the Courthouse to get my check. The payroll clerk was a lovely sweet older gent who was such fun to talk to. When he retired, I switched to direct deposit. I have never had a problem.

I didn’t know any banks did not do direct deposit these days.

Oh yeah, now cleo shows up! As I am heading off to my feather pillows!
