Let’s give Uncle Roger the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he is trying to raise the self-esteem of the little dogs of Ballard Street, who are so often ignored.
As you can probably deduce from the comments, we’ve got an iconic poster from StelBel today…. with an equally iconic role for Cleo….. and as Dennis noted, she plays a male!
Not just any male… but a spaghetti-kibble-Western hero…. ok, antihero.
It’s in the Aug 20th 2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”
Which Dennis has linked to on Sherpa, above.
Indeed, Cellardoor…. and glad to see you on Cleo! …. Ennio Morricanine’s music was a big part of defining the spaghetti-kibble-western genre….
I’m late….. I see that Tigressy has already posted the theme from this film….
I was having trouble with GoComics… all the pages were timing out, and images weren’t opening.
Just a couple of samples from his other films….
Here’s “For a few Dog Biscuits More”.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLXQltR7vUQ
and “A Fistful of Dog Biscuits…”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpZjvbSC9_M
Sorry they both have artwork from the human versions, which “borrowed” his music.
Humans can get away with so much!
Speaking of which, we may as well look at their darn copydog movie poster:
The other bassets better watch out or so-called ugly basset will steal all their money for some plastic surgery and will be called best looking basset. And just think, only 4 more months to go before the plastic surgery on Sherpa when and if they change the fix date to 2020. Well, if they can get that 6 year old to tell them how to do it. She might if they pay her 2 cents.
I love this movie! When all three bassets run around that graveyard……and then the Good Basset throws the shovel and tells the Ugly Basset to “dig”. Doesn’t get any better than that.
Another great poster, Stel, and thanks. Tigressy for the music to read a poster by.

One of my favorite movies, and Cleo gets the lead! (in a pants role).

Oh, come on now. The Ugly Basset? That just strains the bounds of credulity. Or is it the hounds of credulity?

I aspire to be Uncle Roger.

Say… Stel…. pssst…. STEL… …um…. isn’t that Flea Van Cleef?
That Cleo is amazing….. being able to play everything from a glamour girl to a hardbitten, male, saddle tramp.
And then go home and fire off a bazooka.
Meanwhile….
If that picture of Uncle Roger is ten years old, maybe we can assume that by now, he and Bikemaster are both in jail?
Be careful what you wish for, Liverlips.

And speaking of slow on the uptake, I just now noticed the Thundershirt in the “Mad Max” poster.
