A damsel in pants! No distress, except for her knightly (nightly?) suitor! –Well, maybe not suitor: he wouldn’t suit her in pants, now, would he?…

Hmm…you’d think he’d be glad that if the love of his life is going to rip her skirt off in a public setting, she would have pants on underneath. I mean, hey, it’s better than the alternative ;)

A damsel in ‘dis dress? no a damsel in ‘doz pants!!

Earlier, there was a discussion that Justin had possibly based some of his strips/story on Terry Pratchett’s Disc World. In somewhat of a turn-about, today’s Over the Hedge http://comics.com/overthehedge/2009-08-19/ mentions a possible basis for the Disc World itself. In Hindu mythology, Chukwa is a giant Turtle who supports a giant elephant which, in turn, support the entire Earth!
