[whispers] nope.
Must be the first customer of the day. Give him a chance to warm up!!
algurka: Are you kidding? “Shoe” has been based primarily on bad jokes and puns for most of its run.
I remember those cars - Boats?
We had a DeSoto when I was a kid. I think it was about a ‘54 or so. We always had used cars, but they were like luxury cars back then. I remember it had an image of DeSota wearing a helmet on the horn button. Pretty cool. (God I’m old.)
Shoe is next to Calvin&Hobbs and Raising Duncan in the NEVER give up status.
pearlandpeach I’m not sure it’s status he’s not giving up. A clunker, yes, for as many times as it’s been in the shop.
Pearlandpeach, he doesn’t want to give up the seat. It fits his butt and he refuses to break in another one.

@ dkram: Pink was very popular back then. My parents ‘54 Buick Special was pink and white two-tone.
