The Strip really began on: March 23 1997. They are missing almost 3 years of strips.

STARTING this ….YAY ! :D

I own the book collection with the first months of strips from 1998 and the first half of 1999 (the ones that aren’t on GoComics). One thing that sticks out to me is that the early strips mostly seem to be from Addy’s perspective and focuses on the mischievous things Heart does, and it isn’t til some months later that the strip starts to shift towards being from Heart’s perspective. Also, Dean isn’t introduced until about April 1999, which is actually pretty close to the time in which the strip starts to change perspectives. Additional, not totally related observation: Kat stops being a major character after around October/November 1999. What a shame; so much wasted potential.
