Calvin, you can but try…

Calvin, if you think people are dictating now, wait until you get married.

We all are understanding you very well Cal: not only are there mom and dad, but also Mrs. Wormwood, Rosalyn, Suzie, Moe…..good grief !!

Calvin… you think your parents have it easy…think again! Life’s never easy, whether your a kid or an adult. (Or A tiger, who has to put up with a hyper active kid with a wild imagination).

just wait until you get a job and have 2 or 3 bosses telling you things to do and don’t consult with each other

Calvin wants to mutante to a Tiger with fangs? WoW~

Remember Linus and Lucy van Pelt. Calvin should be lucky: he doesn’t have any sisters !!!

Calvin, your being a kid is the ONLY reason you are not in jail yet. Feel fortunate while you can.

On the nail bald–though Calvin doesn’t even have to wait that long, just up to high-school (where teachers are known to assign homework on the almost-invariably wrong assumption that theirs is the only class the student is taking–I guess the purpose of that is to prep for workaday world where bosses replace those teachers).

After a couple of bowls of sugar bombs he’ll get over that crud.

yeah, kids have it rough… free food, a roof over your head, loving parents, no responsibilities, that sounds horrible!

Well get used to it Calvin… even when you’re a grown up people will try to tell you what to do…

Calvin, you may want to be an adult now. But when you do, and see what it’s like, you’ll wish you were a kid again

My,my. Hobbes is the epitome of humility. Yes, Hobbes. Not only the Lord, all of us here know how hard it is.

Calvin wants Hobbe’s life and I want my dog Cleo’s life. But…it ain’t gonna happen.

Hobbes is lucky he is a tiger, since, unlike Calvin, he is an endangered species

Oh Calvin, don’t be in such a rush! Enjoy being a kid, even if you do get bossed around! Growing up ain’t all it’s cracked up to be!

Hobbes is so very humble, it’s amazing! Especially in panel 4. But then, as several have said, being a cat makes it particularly difficult. You just have to laugh!

Oh Calvin, if you think this will change as you grow older, you’d better start growing your fangs as soon as possible… Cleoyaka, I too would like to have my dog’s life sometimes…

And I want my cat Macushla’s life. All she does is rest her weary fur on my bed all day long. What a great life it must be. Boring and monontonous but great!

Cats and dogs have such short lives.

in the last pannel hobbes reminded me of a book we read in class. a very very elderly lady (she was like falling apart elderly) said pretty much the same thing. lol

wonder if i could grow fangs priceless.

i have the book ‘something under the bed is drooling’ at page 96 the book starts over again from page 65 and goes to 96. is it suposed to do that?

Here’s another great calvin and hobbes comic strip where the last panel is Hobbes with a smart remark, and Calvin going on with the ending punch line. A great strip to compete with any other comic.

Calvin thinks too hard. when you’re young, everything is exciting and new. when you think too much about anything you get sick of everything. He should enjoy life as a kid more because it won’t last long.

To Coogles 6542 or whatever your name is (45 seconds is too long to remember a name) ; I had a book like that. It means the publisher bound the wrong part in twice. Get the store to replace it.
