Calvin forgot to sneak in the back door today.

Nah, you need Hobbes. He makes life an adventure.

It’s always so nice to have someone meet you at the door. Not to mention the enthusiasm of their hugs.

My lab does this too. Unfortunately, she has a sexual attraction to fleece. So, be prepare for a hump a hump, of burnin love.

There’s nothing better than having a pet greet you after a long day of school or work.

Who let loose the tiger? Calvin didn’t have any fresh fruit.

Tigresses are forgotten!

Calvin already regrets he isn’t a tiger anymore.

Maybe he should stop saying that he’s home, since Hobbes takes that as his cue. If he did, then Hobbes wouldn’t know when to pounce.

Yes, Josh. Can’t understand why he has to announce everytime that he is home, when he knows that Hobbes is waiting for it.

I really like Hobbes wide-eyed look of innocence in the forth frame.

EDIT: if anyone is curious, fidget360 and I are not the same people, he/she just likes my avatar enough to also use it.

My cat Macushla is always waiting for me when I get home. And before I leave she looks so distressed. She doesn’t jump on me with such force though.

Hobbes just gets so bored all day long with no Calvin to keep him into mischief. He’s just happy to see Calvin, look at his face in panel 3.

What can you say? Tiggers bounce!

Grazer is right as one can plainly see Hobbes smile in the third frame. That, my friends is powerful love.

And his mom wonders why he comes from school looking like something the tiger dragged in…

My dog just wanted to go out when I came home. I really miss him.

Duh, eya, that’s because it’s a DOG! Can anyone else feel me on this? Why in the world would you want the same thing from a woman? If she doesn’t care what you do, and jumps on you regardless? obviously she has other incentives for doing that- think about it pal. Take it from a old wise man, been there, seen it, had it, and trust me, if you have one- expect big alimony payments later on.

personally - I think the tiger is gay! (But I love him anyway..) Gee - maybe that makes ME gay!!! whoa! Calvin is the best … I drive a school bus and I know that it isn’t right to scream “I’m home” to your pet .. poor kid. Now he can say Hobbs ate his homework!

My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter greets me the same way when she comes in the door of my house. She yells grandma and I yell her name with my arms open and she runs and jumps into my arms. I love it!!!

Calvin would be lost if he didn’t have Hobbes in his life. Who else would he have to blame things on?
