No wonder Hobbes didn’t put up a fight for the pool. Sprinklers are more fun.

The bathing trunks are so cute… And it’s interesting, that Hobbes doesn’t wear any clothes, but for bathing he puts on bathing trunks!

You’re correct about the quote, but the point here was that Calvin didn’t want anyone else having fun. I was aiming for irony about Calvin’s selfish attitude.

When someone who wears clothes takes them off to go swimming, that’s called skinny dipping. So what do you call it when a nudist (tiger) puts on clothes just to go swimming??

Hobbes your jams contrast poorly with your stripes.

Whomever decided one has to wear something when going swimming must have been a sadist. Getting out of the water in a cold wet swimsuit is miserable. Skinny dipping is the only way to go.

i saw one of our neighbors kids running under the sprinkler and asked if i could do that too the littlest girl said no because i was too big

Yukoner and LX013, the forecast for today in Los Angeles is 103 F, and that’s downtown. The valleys are even hotter!

A sprinkler by the wading pool, I like that idea. Ahhh….

Calvin thought of the sprinkler but Hobbes being all for it gave Calvin second thoughts. I just love the way Calvin all ways watches what Hobbes is doing.

Today is the first day we’ve had since April it would be too cool to go swimming

camo pants on a striped tiger. Hobbes’ ascerbic mind may be on the ball in most instances, but his fashion sense, hmmmmm…..

The swim trunks may clash a little bit with the tiger stripes but that just makes them all the cuter in this instance because they’re on my favorite “cat” in the whole world … and that’s Hobbes!

It’s incredible how selfish we people can be at times! Imagine that you can’t have fun when someone else is having fun! That is so bent!

I just got back from a swim in our lake. It is 66 degrees and the lake is 65. Bdaysuit, I kind of thought that you might agree with me. :-)
