Jason: Interesting. Peter: What's that? Jason: This article talks about how more and more cartoonists are using computers to help with their work. I wonder how prepared they are for any Y2K bugs. Peter: Oh, I'm sure they've tested everything out. Besides... What can go wrong in a comic strip? Jason: Wow. Have you read what these Wright brothers are up to?

For those who don’t quite understand the last panel, the y2k computer bug is a bug where the year on a computer would go from 99 to 00 because most computers only stored the last two digits of the year instead of the whole 4 digits like they do now…
So in this instance in panel 4, they went back to the year 1900 instead of advancing to the year 2000 hence why their fashion/style changed and why they were talking about the Wright Brothers.
Hope this clears up confusion.
