The_Jam: That was an amazing episode. Especially the fire-blowing.

The_JAM: The first thing they’d ask for is a website with detailed instructions…

ha ha ha. That’s the funniest bit in the whole movie!

I can’t believe how lazy bill has gotten. Jason could easily solve this. Figure out what amount of weight each ballon can lift (using something with measured weight such as a bag of chips), then ask his mom how much she weighs and extrapolate his sister’s from the genetic match or look up average weight table on the web.

Up was a great kids movie, but I foresee it being on cable in a matter of months as well.

It didn’t work with Mythbusters…he needs a big hot air balloon!

..this strip today is full of hot air…

Up was the most meaningful movie I saw in 2009, showing a grand adventure and a surprisingly realistic outlook on life. While many of the scenes in the flying house were spectacular, but it was the five-minute scene with the protagonist’s life, the only sound being Michael Giacchino’s score, that really got to me.

CUTE!! CUTE !! CUTE!! POOR PAIGE THOUGH ;)

… Then Paige lands in Paradise falls and drowns…

Notice one of the green balloons doesn’t have a string…

I am so inspired!

I read that it takes approximately four thousand balloons to lift an average adult. (Really. I’m not exaggerating.)
