Gertie, not only are you known for your “dancing”, but you will also soon be known as “Angel Eyes”.

Then who knows, you may be much closer to grabbing that ‘Gold Ring’.

Byrd, you are smoooooth!

Where’s Walto?

This story is going to be funnier yet as the sagga continues I can hardly wait.

Byrd proposes on stage, a stunned Gertie accepts, they sail into the sunset and are never seen again. Overview of the audience, focus in on all the GA gang. Scancarelli takes the hint (hint?!) and moves on to a story about Chipper’s twins. Walt moves in with Skeezix & Nina so no sitter needed, and the commenters live happily ever after.

Well put! But fear not, they would still whimper on and on and on and…….

This comedic bit is more like it!!!

Slow pan out over the audience, down to a close up of Walt, sleeping peacefully in his seat, undisturbed since Gertie was thrown out.

This is getting better and better each day. If this story arc is coming to an end, I hope that Byrd and Gertie get married, and we can see them as regulars on GA. Even for a Sunday comic inbetween other story arcs between Clovia and the usuals. Keep up the good work Jim!!
