And not only does it take a lot of land, water, and chemicals, but very few people can use that land at a time - 72 people in such a huge “park” (assuming that there’s a foursome at every hole). With such limited use and such high maintenance costs, the cost per user is very high, so it also tends to be very exclusive and elitist.
