It looks to me like he could have crawled through on his belly, slightly tilted to clear his shoulders. All that disassembly/reassembly was just showing off.

I think this is one of those places where the kids chase each other round and round the house. So they didn’t wait for him, he just joined them again at a different lap.

Maybe they should install a door for that gap. With a lock.

This strip is more like “Lio” than “Brewster Rockit.”
