All I did was have the TV on while the kid was playing in the same room! I even explained to her the parental warning and todl her not to watch or listen! Peter: Gee, I stand corrected then. Paige: I mean, what am I supposed to do- watch "Barney" the whole time I'm babysitting? Katie: %^& Barney! %^& Barney!

Barney is one of the most annoying characters ever created. Thank heavens I don’t have children. I wonder how many more times that Paige is going to be hired by this household?

I think I watched Barney for about five minutes when my kids were little - Yuk! I started buying or borrowing video tapes (this was before DVDs) of Veggie Tales and other ones that didn’t irritate me to hear them over and over and over again.

We have a no-Barney policy in our house. Also, no Dora, Diego or Backyardigans. They’re all really *&%$ annoying. There are some kids’ shows that don’t drive me around the bend, but after the first 10,000 viewings I start to update that list.
