All cooking that involves chocolate deserves a professional’s touch.

Well, it was Sunday when it first appeared.

I wonder if they ever got their dessert.

It may have been messy but it sounded like it was going to be delicious. She should have let them finish as long as they cleaned up the mess.

HERSHEY’S DEATH BY CHOCOLATE - #2

2 sticks butter 7 Hershey bars (8.5 oz. each) 2 c. sugar

Melt butter and bars and pour over sugar, beating well.

Combine:

2 1/2 c. cake flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda A dash of salt

Beat:

4 eggs

Add eggs alternately with flour mixture, cream with each addition.

Add:

1 can Hershey syrup (16 oz.) 1 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla

Stir and pour into a tube pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.

(I couldn’t imagine eating something like this - this must be for the female of the species.)

Ummm, that recipe sounds great but I would eliminate the 2 cups of sugar you don’t need it. Otherwise it’s death by chocolate and what a way to go.
