Jeri may wake up. Her parents must have been asleep at the switch this far, but there’s a LOT that can be done to return the girl to the HUMAN race, in spite of the evil corporaticfad-makers she’s been unfortunately influenced by so far…
Girls her age change quickly, fall in love, become different personalities. It could happen…even military school would help…tee heee.
No Ghostkeeper, Dad will be saying, to himself, “She’s your problem now. SUCKER!!!” Or at least he will when he pays the final instalment for the bills from Jerri’s wedding. Teena, being sensible, of course, will manage to pay for her own wedding and have Mom and Dad as “guests” rather than servant-slaves, which is how I imagine Jerri’s wedding will go.
People, kids have to learn somehow, and that often involves some trial and error. All week Jeri has been experimenting with different ways to get what she wants, and she has been learning what doesn’t work. Today she finally broke down and asked what would work, and she listened to her mother’s explanation. She could grow up to be a decent person, given time and a lot of patience….Her mother has handled it very well — not giving in and not getting upset. She is modeling as well as explaining.-Cougar :{)

Wife is simply a polite substitution for her real profession. She may have three high yield divorces in her before she is too old for the trade.

When I walked my daughter down the aisle, I told my son-in-law, “no deposit, no return”.

Words NOT in Jeri’s vocabulary: pleasant, kind, helpful, considerate — oh, and PLEASE!
