Cars have been mostly meh ever since they lost the tail fins.

Why not ? It’s just a Matchbox car.

Jeri, what have you DONE to receive a car? besides you are 14.

Remeber the Pacer? That was shaped like – and looked about as safe as – an egg. One woman I knew called it a “fishbowl,” which was also appropriate.

When, oh when, will they bring back the Studebaker?

I remember the Pacer, the passenger door was larger than drivers to make access to the rear seat easier. Jeri just wanted a Mini because it was the ‘car du jour’. It may use premium, but they can get 40mpg and are more fun than a F’ing Prius.

I like my Challenger; V-6, 20 MPG around town (over 30 on the highway!) and I can still stomp on it and DRIVE out of trouble if I have to; try THAT with a “Smart Car”…mine isn’t some Monster machine Hemi, nor is it a gas-sipping hybrid, or a people-mover minivan with seating for 8. But it IS a personal car for me and my lady – and at 60 years old, I’ve EARNED it! In a few years, after it’s paid for and then some, I’ll trade it on something a bit more ‘sensible’ – but for now, I’m having fun without TOO much pump pain.

I just love Mini Coopers.
