Regarding the Monday, July 27th, comic, I think that he’s exaggerating just a bit. All of the atheists/agnostics/secular humanists that I know are good polite people and don’t go out of their way to ridicule anyone. My son and I managed to be very active in the Boy Scouts for over 10 years without offending anyone’s faith or even having anyone suspect we weren’t believers. Also, I would quibble with the the word ‘devout’. It generally refers to someone with strong beliefs whereas the people he is referring to don’t hold beliefs at all.
yes it does - Comics.com works fine, particularly since they updated it. Both Go Copmics and Comics.com are great…..just read both of them for all your comic enjoyment. Of course, there is Comics Kingdom….
The strips about about “people of faith” fail to acknowledge an unspoken reality. Those who call themselves aggrieved “people of faith” usually mean “people of my faith”. For politicians its an obvious code word for “my conservative base”. There are politically progressive people of faith and it looks to me like they take more abuse from their conservative brethren than they do from secular humanists. What I frequently hear is some version of, “You don’t interpret scripture the way I do so you just aren’t a person of faith at all.” That’s on a good day. On a bad day, it’s “abomination”.

TN Charlie: ACME is online now. Winslow browses using his blackberry. No need to burden the US postal service with unwanted catalogs.

Need new comic strip.

The reason no new Prickly City is being posted is because the strip switched syndicates. It’s now with United Media.
Visit comics.com from now on.

Umm, why is this stopped?

If the upgrade worked, why is it half the time the pages don’t load? Why am I greeted with a blank page at various times every day?
pearlandpeach over 15 years ago
IT always told me to delete the whole thing and start over—-worked every time.
