Ducks: Quack quack quack... Joe: Wow... I wonder why all those ducks are in our yard. Danae: Well... I gave a couple of them some bread, then word spread in the duck community that there's free food here... so now they're telling me that they're hungry. Joe: OK... so why are they waddling toward the house carrying pitchforks and torches? Danae: 'Cuz they're really hungry.

How do they hold the pitchforks and torches? In their beaks?

Is that a chainsaw?

Dotcomgirl, I agree with you. I thought it looked like a french bread.

Yikes, I thought it was french bread too, but it might be a chainsaw!

It’s a loaf of french bread. Sorry, but it’s difficult to get it clearer in such a small space.

Ducks are nice. Stewed, fried, baked, or roasted. Plus, they will eat the slugs in the neighborhood. Too many ducks, starving ducks, are from not enough roasted duck.

This couldn’t possibly be about,oh say, Bear Stearns, and then Frannie and Freddie, and then, let’s see, Wall Street threatening a melt down if it doesn’t get $700 billion, could it? Nah. Just in the comic pages.
