Wiley, I just want you to know you’ll always have a fan in this fence-sitter living in a world of polar political stances. You’re one of the few sources of wit and sarcasm I have left now since they cancelled Futurama.

Are we even certain we’ll be here in another four years? I feel a very real doom over the state of our country. We had no choices in the elections–and never will have again as long as big business and big government are in charge. People need to WAKE UP.

Well, this last campaign started roughly two years ago…so maybe we have two years until people we never heard of start announcing that they’re setting up exploratory committees. Or, because this works a bit like Christmas and comes earlier every time…21 months.

Ummmm… that’s one of the problems in this country. We have elections twice a year EVERY year – they’re called primaries and general elections. People need to pay more attention to who they elect locally – every politician gets their start somewhere! Don’t just wait till 2012… there’s another election coming this spring!
