Jeffrey: OK... So what would Capt. Eddie do? Danae: Think about it. Jeffrey: Oh...Yeah... Danae: OK... Ready? One...Two...Three! Jeffrey and Danae: BELCH. Pterodactyl: P-tooie! Jeffrey: Woo-hoo! With the exception of gravity, that worked great. Danae: Well, I didn't say it was a perfect plan.

Very unlady-like, but very Captain Eddy-like.

Those salsa, bean, and cheese Doritos will do it every time. :))

One problem at a time - Captain Eddy would still approve.

Actually when I though WWCED I pictured a different sort of gas, but this works too.

Kerovan, Yeah, I was thinking it shoulda been a big old fart, too. After all, Captain Eddie is a big old fart. Can’t really remember any really good fart jokes in the comics. Do they do fart jokes in the comics? Will the nanobots let me even type it? Stay tuned…

@Digital Frog:
You got put on some A-team that’s in the bleachers apparently because you are funny. But who’s the wing nut that put me on it?

EMET started it, and I was invited to be part of the group. if you don’t want to be one of us, simply ignore us and we’ll leave you alone (though we WILL still make comments on what you post). just say A. if you want to remain a member. (at least once in a while, anyway.) A.

No, newspaper editors will not allow farts in comics.

re fart jokes, if i were a GENIUS i could go back in time and review the next to last panel of the storm drain grating series from a month or so ago. just what did Capt Eddie do?
Trebor39 over 15 years ago
Frying pan, fire. fire, frying pan. Oh what the heck!
Varnes over 15 years ago
Wiley, too bad newspapers don’t …. alright, which one of you guys farted?
Wiley creator over 15 years ago
Perhaps I should re-phrase that. Editors won’t allow OVERT fart jokes, in the same manner as I did with a belch. The Captain Eddie “gas” joke was what you’d call a subversive fart joke, wafting under the editorial radar.

Where do you find Baby Blues and Prince Valiant??
Excellent strip, Wiley. I thought for a minute they were going to go into one of those long tales CE likes to spin.

They are King Features strips (http://www.kingfeatures.com/features/comics/comics.htm) and KF doesn’t believe in internet users per se … (as you might notice) … if you actually want to read KF strips you need to find a newspaper with an on-line comics section that carries your favourites preferably with an archive (the Houston Chronicles has a good selection – including Baby Blues: http://www.chron.com/apps/comics/showComics.mpl ) … unfortunately fewer papers carry Prince Valiant …

So sad. Many thanks for the links. Cheers.
Just Sunday for Prince Valiant??:(
