Joe: Wait... you're in all these Woodstock photos, so who shot them? Flo: Oh... heah's one I took of him... Joe: Holy... Uh... how'd you end up at Woodstock, Eddie? Capt. Eddie: Well... a nah-eastah suddenly blew in... Joe: Never mind...
considering some of the adventures Eddie has had, i wouldn’t be at all surprised if it’s the same cat…there’s something about that little beastie that makes me think he’s much more than he appears to be
I think we’re all going to wake up any minute now and find ourselves at back Yasgur’s farm, realizing that the last forty years have actually been nothing more than a bad LSD trip.
openminded,
And all this time I didn’t think the Turtles were at Woodstock, now we find out that they were but were stoned in the mud, rather than on stage. So they truly were Happy Together! “I can’t see me lovin’ nobody but you, all my life! When you with me baby the skies will be blue all my life!”
I think that cat is mummified and Cap’n Eddie just moves him from shoulder to shoulder every anniversary of Woodstock. As for those of you serving in ‘Nam during that time, my thanks to you for not running away to Canada. God bless you and I hope you came back all right.
Considering his stories, I wonder what the good captain has in his pipe right now… I bet there are people who believe, like they do about the moon landing, that Woodstock never happened, and those would be the same ones who believe the president wants to indoctrinate our children.

Joe hasn’t yet jumped to the conclusion i just jumped to…
Maybe tomorrow he’ll go into terminal brainlock.
debra4life50 about 15 years ago
Fairportfan - Would that conclusion be something along the lines of “Who’s your daddy?”?

One of you guessed this yesterday.

If the judge hadn’t made me an offer I couldn’t refuse, I’d of been there. Instead I was just south of Danang.

I was only 9 at the time and probably already grounded for something I did.
And someone did guess this yesterday.

Now, there is the beginnings of a great story. For those that don’t know, the old dude is a fisherman and the cat is an alien.
What a good story that’d be. :D

Perhaps Flo was there with Cap’n Eddie, who made one of his rare inland excursions…
a nah eastah… lol
Trebor39 about 15 years ago
If that little cat is the original maybe it’s dead, stuffed, and permanently attached to Cap’n Eddie’s shoulder.
bmonk about 15 years ago
A Northeasternly pronounced “North-Easter” (that is, a storm with North Easterly winds).

Cap’n Eddie is becoming more and more like Forrest Gump…he seems to show up at every significant event…..could it be they are related?
