I still remember their ads on 1960’s TV for pre-packaged take-out food (What a concept!) with the slogan “Less work for Mother Dear”. BARF!
Youngsters! Talk to old people! It will give you a chance to get some wisdom without having to get old first. Of course, you’ll need enuff smarts to tell the difference between their golden truths and their ridiculous blather. But then, that’s a skill one develops just reading the Comments on GoComics.
Ten cents for a sandwich! I remember those days! McDonald’s used to sell their hamburgers for ten cents each! You could get a Baker’s Dozen of hamburgers (13) for $1.00! That price INCLUDED four soft drinks and four orders of fries. Two couples could double date, go to McDonald’s afterwards and feed everyone! We lived too far away from big cities to have automats, though.
