Birds have birdbaths for smaller birds?

Birds placing birdbaths for smaller birds isn’t that bad when you consider that in Wisconsin they actually buy concrete deer for their front yards. And in one yard I saw a flock of plastic, pink flamingos.

There is a nursery here in Austin, TX on a big corner lot and they have the whole front of it covered in plastic pink flamingos. In fact, their website is

which is actually pretty funny. You can’t miss ‘em when you drive by.

I guess there’s not much choice since Bird Cage & Things went under.

Maybe it’s not a birdbath; maybe it’s daycare.

Attracted a (juvenile) mountain lion, which fell asleep in a hedge waiting for the deer to get up and move.
