Odie’s whistles of innocence. And Jon becomes the guilty one.

Well…he didn’t say EXACTLY what Odieboy did to the rug…why is eveybody assuming the worst???

Odie’s original owner Lyman (back in ‘78) swatted Odie with newspaper for the “thing” he made on the rug. Garfield, in the final panel, said that they should’ve named him “Spot.”

That’s what Garfield’s job is–make life miserable for Odie–he is a dog afterall. This is not to be taken that I am a ‘cat supporter’ just aware of the relationship between the two species.

Dogs sometimes drag their rears across rugs… I suspect that’s what’s being implied.

I’ve always thought the way Jon dresses is a crime.

Odieboy hijacked and stole $901030257 from the rug last Thursday. Armed robbery shouldn’t be a joke.
