I don’t get it…

I don’t get it either. The only thing I can think of is the guy in the background is pointing with the Wii controller, and by pointing the controller at the ground, he’s causing the drone to fly into the ground.

However, I don’t own a Wii, so I really have no clue.

That’ll be a day in international military tactics: Wii-controlled drones.

I’m also as surprised as the solider going O__O

Is a solider more solid than a soldier? LOL

I don’t get it either. CoBass’s comment might make sense, but he doesn’t seem too sure about it himself. If people don’t get it or are unsure, then the comic has failed, in my opinion.

CoBass has it. The guy talking to the Colonel is holding the Wii controller. When he pointed with the controller at the pencil, the drone crashed which is why the guy in the foreground is in shock.

Yep, I think CoBass figured it out. Like a magic trick, now that you’ve explained it I totally see how it was done!

My daughter just got a Wii. I got the joke right away.

As a Cartoonist myself, I have nightmares about the comments being funnier than my work.

But it happens sometimes…
