Paige: I've got to read this whole book by next Wednesday. Peter: So? I've got to read this whole book by next Tuesday. Jason: Ha! I've got to read this whole book, by next Monday! Oops. I guess if I hold it sideways like that, it's too thin to see. Paige: Would that work if I turned you sideways? Peter: ...or upside down, or inside out?...

I not only get to read gocomics but comments too and that takes awhile. Sometimes there are too many reptitions on comments and I pass up. I hope they enjoy their books great for knowledge.

Jason reading a thin book? I thought he’d be reading something truly massive, like The 12-Volume History of Mustard (that’s in Perfessor Fishbeak’s library, over in Shoe).

Please. This is Jason we’re talking about. Unless it’s a book about math, science, or computers, he wants nothing to do with it (ever notice how we never see him waxing as enthusiastic about Spelling, Music, or Social Studies as he does about Math?)
He does know how to push his older siblings’ buttons, though! :D

I’m a little over half-way through “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”, but it’s a public library book. It’s due back next Monday, but I’ll be in Utah visiting my brother and some friends (I leave this Thursday and don’t get back next Wednesday).
I really wonder what it was like before Jason’s birth when it was just Peter and Paige. Probably peace and harmony.

OK, so the thickest fictional book I could think of doesn’t work for Jason. But I did manage to push a few buttons of my own, didn’t I? :))
I must ask though: since when has Jason being in 5th grade have anything to do with his choice of reading material or the thickness thereof? [double :)) ]
