Doesn’t even phase Dad anymore…

Dad knows. He’s lived with Lio all Lio’s life–been there, done that. Dad has the most admirable equanimity in the comics!

Ah yes….I know someone on another forum who uses the following as his sig line:

Calvin the Pterodactyl’s got nothing on Lio the Vampire. 10/10 for style.

So creative! Each Sunday we looked forward to seeing Lio in our Comics.

Some we cut out and taped on cupboard doors.

Our local #&*% papers have removed the genius kid and replaced him with a goody-two-shoes strip. Only the internet keeps him safe.

Where can I get such a long slinky?

Wish my parents had been that laid back. I loved climbing, but they had a different opinion about it than I did.

Back in the ’50s Dennis was called a menace, but he never did a fraction of what Lio does today on a regular basis. Why hasn’t his strip’s title been shortened to just “Dennis” yet?

I like how subdued and blasé his dad is…he’s used to this by now.

Dad would be worried if Lio didn’t do that 2 days after halloween.

Who needs T.V. when you’ve got Lio?
