Oh, and I’ve seen immediate healings where a person prayed in the complete name/reputation of The Lord Jesus Christ to God for the miracle, and didn’t polute their trust of God, but dared to believe in the one whom God has sent.
Or get a complete and immediate healing by honoring The Lord Jesus Christ and God through prayer, while not dishonoring God’s ability to heal by then going to the stupid docs. I’ve seen complete marvelous healings, but only when it got to the point that God got all the credit. He is very protective of His reputation.
No need for fear, sweethearts, just more of God and His Goodness.
C.K.: While I do too believe in the power of prayer, I believe that doctors are blessings from God and should be viewed as tools He uses to work His glory, not enemies that work against Him. Things that were a death sentence 100+ years ago, such as the flu, are now very treatable, thanks largely in part to medical advances by doctors. It breaks my heart to hear of stories where people, often children, die because their parents and others decide to pray instead of seek medical help ( often from something as treatable as an allegic reaction).. I, however, think it is okay to pray that God will work through the doctors and allow that person to make a recovery. I am very thankful that we live in such a medically advance time, and hope that you will view those who help us remain healthy as tools of God and His will.
Also, I have knowm people to make full recoveries through surgery and other doctor’s interventions, and still give God credit for what has happened. I have even heard doctors themselves give credit to God for patient outcomes!
