how will she feel when Bradley catches the bunny and starts to the rip the skin off its struggling, squealing little carcass with his merciless , canine jaws
I’m an old country girl, back when I was a kid the dogs got table scraps which they supplemented by hunting. I never saw a dog skin the rabbit while catching/killing it. They didn’t skin it before eating it either, just gnawed off peices and swallowed. By the way, they don’t squeal in these instances. If they had time to, they usually just got off one short, surprisingly loud shriek. Often not even that. The dogs seemed to think that the quicker dead, the quicker in the tummy.

It’s usually the moles and deer that eat our garden.

There is more meat on deer than a rabbit.
