…it doesn’t matter you can’t get it to drink.

Y’know, if he spent nine days in the desert with nothing else to do, you’d think maybe he could’ve taken a minute or two to come up with a name for the horse. ;->

That was one song by America I didn’t like. I thought it was rather stupid. I agree with Crossfire905’s comment.

I did like “Sister Golden Hair” though.

The Horse with No Name is my second most hated song of that era, right after that Cake out in the Rain. Just say NO.

BC13: “Sister Golden Hair Surprise”, yes good one. I also liked “No Name”, though. Back in those days we sometimes saw through a glass, darkly, or through rose-colored glasses, or whatever. Interesting times, but some of us survived. I still have an album of “America’s Greatest Hits”, although many would say it must be a very short album. Edit: I could never listen to their “Muskrat Love” - dumb song.

I was driving home from work and I had to change the tape (yes, tape) on my tape player. What was playing on the radio while I’m making the change? Horse with no name.

Ushindi I have a CD of their greatest hits. Unforturately I still can’t take Horse with no name. Maybe it was on the radio way too much back in the ‘70’s that made me forever sick of it.

Ohyeah, “Sister Golden Hair” was a great one. I LOVE that slide guitar sound.

Years ago, I saw “A Horse With No Name” tagged as NEIL YOUNG & CRAZY HORSE on Audiogalaxy. Sometimes you just wanna reach into the interwebz and cyberslap somebody, you know…? :-/ Kids. Yeeeesh.
