Elly: April, I have to use the phone now, please. April: Awwh!! What about the other line? Elly: Your Dad has a business call. April: What about the cell phone? Elly: It's being recharged. April: Bye Becky. My Mom hasta use the phone. Bummer. If you an' Dad are both on the phone, I can't even use the Internet! Elly: TOUGH! We pay the bills around here - we should be able to use the facilities!!! John: What's with April? Elly: We had a lack of communication.

Good God, Ellie is a horrible character. April didn’t refuse, she just asked about any other options, then slunk off saying “bummer”.

Nope, that’s EXACTLY what my dad would have said. Likely April has been sitting there for the better part of an hour, if not more.

My Mom would have said the same thing, NGL. We didn’t have internet connection at this time—2004—but she would have said the exact same thing.
